A loud crashing sound woke me up from my sleep. I rushed downstairs and saw my parents, Victoria and her parents all standing around the broken vase on the floor.
"I'm so sorry I didn't mean to, I just-"
"Calm down its an old cheap vase." I said interrupting Victoria
Everyone turned around to look at me. I greeted them as they returned the same gesture. Victoria was standing still holding a tray full of food. The broken glass was right besides her feet. I grabbed the tray from her and set it on the table.
"Make sure not to step on it." I helped her move away
I was getting ready to leave the house when my dad stopped me. I looked back at him to let him finish what he has to say.
"Can you take Miss Victoria with you. We have some important matters to discuss here." He spoke
I looked over to Victoria and she nodded and stepped out with me. We both walked to the swings and sat down. We were both silent.
"Why do you talk so formally with your dad?" She suddenly asked
"I don't have a good relationship with my dad that's all." I said
I looked over to her and saw her slowly nodding her head. She seemed kind of tense as well, maybe cause of the broken vase incident.
"Just forget about it." I sighed and stood up
She quickly stood up and followed too. I started slowly walking around. Then I stopped and looked at Victoria who was just following.
"Why are you following me?" I asked
"But our pa-"
"Never mind do you wanna go to the park?" I interrupted
"I don't know." She responded
"Alright then I'll be leaving." I said as I walked to my car
"No wait! I'm coming too." She said quickly catching up to me

"You're cheating!" She yelled
"How was that cheating!? I won fair and square!" I yelled childishly
"Its not fair!!" She got grumpy and went to sit on the bench
"It was 100% fair." I said
"No it wasn't you're a lot taller than me how is that even fair!?" She said frustrated
"Calm down its just a game. And stop yelling for goodness sake." I said
"Oh yeah? Make me." She glared and continued her yelling
"You're gonna regret this." I scoffed
"Say what you want. I don't take orders from anyone."
"Is this all because you lost? I had no idea you were such a sore loser." I sighed
