"Well, it was nice of you guys to invite us for lunch." my mother smiled
"Oh hold on, I invited you guys over for lunch instead of dinner for a reason." Mrs. Oh spoke
I looked at Sehun in a confused manner but he just looked away. I looked back at Mrs. Oh.
"We're gonna get you a really nice dress for an upcoming event." She smiled at me
"...What upcoming event?" I raised a brow
"Lets head on out!" She ignored my question
I just shrugged and followed along with my mom. The Oh's chauffeur drove us around till we reached our destination.
I stepped out after my mom and Mrs. Oh. They were too deep into their conversation and walked on ahead. I tried to catch up with them but,
"Umm you'll be going with me." Sehun pulled me back and grabbed my hand.
"Wouldn't they get worried?" I asked
"Doesn't matter, I mean we are adults." He answered
I shrugged and decided to just go with him. As we were walking, I realized he was still holding my hand. I blushed a bit, obviously not used to this much affection.
"Here, this one looks neat." He dragged me inside one of the stores.
We walked around looking at different dresses for me to try on.
"You know, I still don't know what I'm getting a dress for. It would be a lot easier to choose one if I knew what it was for."
"Its ok, I'll tell you which ones to choose from." He answered
I rolled my eyes at him but he just smiled. He called one of the workers and whispered something to her. I looked at him and raised a brow feeling a little annoyed.
"She'll get you the best dresses and you can choose from them." He assured
"Ugh just tell me what its for!" I whined
"No." He simply answered
Just then the lady came with the dresses. I stood up to get a good look at em. They all sparkled even in the dim store lights. They were all so pretty I couldn't even choose one.
"These look way too expensive to be worn by me." I admitted
"Alright go try this one." Sehun grabbed one and gave it to me
"Are you being serious right now? Check the price first!" I scolded
"Don't worry about the price just go try it on. I'm taking it if it looks good on you." He said
He dragged me to the fitting room and took the dress with him.
"Woah wait, I can change myself." I said, surprised
"You perve what are you thinking." He shoved me into one of the rooms with the dress and closed the door
I looked at the dress and hesitated. I checked the price and gasped. There is no way I'm getting this dress.
"Sehun you dumbass! Did you even check the price!?" I yelled
"I already told you, don't worry about the price just try it on. If you like it, I'm getting it for you." He said
I put it on and looked at myself in the mirror. Wow, it looked so amazing. I really love this.
"Sehun... I'm too embarrassed to show you just call my mom." I hesitated
"This is your husband here just let me see it." He replied
I blushed and sighed hearing him say that.
"Fine." I stepped out
He looked at me and chuckled. I rolled my eyes and was about to walk back in the room when he pulled my hand.
"What are you doing, let me see it." He said
"You're the one who laughed at me!" I whined
"You idiot I wasn't laughing at you. This was my favorite dress out of all the other ones and I'm happy it suits you so much." He smiled
"Oh you're the worst liar." I pulled my hand away and went in to change
"Ok we'll take the dress." He told the employee
"Hey! No it's not up to you!" I argued
"It looks amazing there's no way I'm not buying it for you." He replied
I groaned and covered my face shyly. I unlocked the door and got out and gave the dress to the employee. We walked to a different room.
"They'll take your measurements to fix the dress." He said
The tailor walked in with his measuring tape and started measuring my body.
"Here I'll do it." Sehun took the measuring tape from his hands
I blushed when I felt Sehun's hands on me. I went stiff as soon as he put the measuring tape on me. It was hard to stand still every time he puts his hand on me.
I didn't realize I was holding in my breath till he was done and removed the measuring tape. I breathed out in relief.
"Alright we're done. Let's go find some jewelry to match your dress." He took my hand as we walked out of the store
Mr. Oh
"Yes, make sure everything is prepared. This is really important, make sure to check everything after they're done. I'll be there to check over it again right after this appointment."
"Mr. Oh?" A voice called out
I stood up and nodded. He lead me to his office and sat down.
"Please take a seat." He said
I sighed and sat down on the chair in front of his desk.
"Your results have came back and I'm afraid there's bad news." He sighed
I nodded already knowing what it was about. He handed me the file and showed me the results paper. I looked over it silently, not having anything to say about it.
"I understand, I'll be on my way then." I stood up
"Don't you want to try any of these options?" He spoke
I glanced down at the paper and thought for a second.
"Its useless." I finally answered
"Although its not a high ra-"
"I know, but its useless. I know its not going to work. If that's all then I'll be on my way. Thank you doctor." I stepped out of the room
I sat down on a nearby chair to collect myself. I stood back up after feeling calmer. I proceeded to walk out and get in my car, not wasting any more time.
