"You have to visit soon please."
"Mom you know I can't. I'm especially busy these days I don't have any time to do anything. If I visit, I will be behind on everything." I sighed
"At this point your dad wi-"
"I will just call him like I already do. I'll call more often now. I will visit when I'm done with this work. I'll be there by the Summer, I promise."
"That's a long way who knows what'll happen before then." She cried
I sighed and closed my eyes. I didn't want to hurt my mom but I was also avoiding my dad, not waiting to see him in his condition.
"Mom, I won't visit till the Summer of next year. I'll be ready to come back by then too." I rubbed my eyes
I ended the call and sighed. Well, no time to sulk around let's get back to work.
"Mr. Lee, did Mr. Kim ever get back to you? We need him to send us the signed papers for the collaboration we planned."
"Nothing yet, I'll let the secretary contact him again." He replied
"I'll talk to him myself." I turned to my computer to send an email
"If he doesn't reply I'll send someone to go over tomorrow."
"Mr. Oh," the secretary knocked and walked in, "Mr. Kim has canceled the collab. What should we do?" She announced
I grit my teeth and groaned. Some people are just so aggravating.
"Well, we announced a collab so find someone else. Make a list of companies to contact and give them over to Mr. Lee. Find someone and we can restart everything." I pinched the bridge of my nose
She nodded and walked out. I grabbed my coffee and drank the rest of it.
"Sehun, are you sure you won't visit your father?" Mr. Lee started
"I've never been on good terms with him till recently so I'm just staying out of his sight we'll stay on good terms in his final moments."
"So you're not planning to see him at all." Said Mr. Lee
"He's fine with me just calling. He'd rather have me focus on the company anyway." I replied
Mr. Lee sighed and shook his head. He stood up and went back to his office. I stared blankly out the window. Yes, that's all he wanted of me.
"I'll finish these and go home for the day." I said to myself

"Did you hear that the young heir is coming soon?"
I froze in my spot. I looked behind me to see two employees talking. I shook my head and continued on my way to the cafeteria for lunch. I got my food and sat down.
"Hey Victoria."
"You have to stop visiting me at work." I chuckled
