Victoria
A knock on the door woke me up. When I got up I realized that I fell asleep on the couch. I had just moved here last night. Boxes that contained my stuff were scattered all around the room.
I stood up and unlocked the door without thinking. When I realized that I was home alone I shoved the door to close it again.
"Hey hey what are you doing, calm down its me, Kai!" He yelled
After hearing that I quickly let go of the door but since he was pushing it from the outside, it banged my nose.
"Ouch!" I yelled as I held my nose
"Oh! I'm so sorry let me see." He said as he got close and held my face
"I'm alright its alright, you can move now!" I panicked from how close he was
"Trust me just move your hand so I can see." He held my hand and moved it
I stayed quiet and let him see. He moved my face slightly to check. My heart secretly fluttered as I watched his eyes wander all over my face. He smiled when we made eye contact then let go of my face. He flicked my forehead and ran away.
"Kai!" I yelled
"I'm sorry I couldn't resist." He chuckled
I smacked the back of his head and rolled my eyes. My wide smile turned into a frown remembering Sehun's playful side. We used to mess around like this. Kai panicked when he saw me frown. He looked so flustered.
"Wait are you upset? I was just messing around, I'm sorry, I didn't think it would upset you!" He said
I chuckled at his facial expressions while shaking my head.
"No it's okay, thank you for coming over today." I smiled
"No problem." He replied looking confused
Suddenly a light flashed in the room. I looked back at the window to see that is was raining. Looks like there's a storm.
"Ah shit I should've checked the weather." He said
"What?" I laughed
"I was going to take you out today." He answered
"It's alright we can hangout at my new apartment." I smiled
"I really shouldn't be staying here for too long though..." he trailed off
"You can leave as soon as the weather gets better." I said
Suddenly his face lit up, "I know something!" He smiled
"What?" I asked
"Well, since you'll be living alone you're gonna have to start making your own food. So what if I teach you some of my favorite dishes? Believe it or not I'm really good at cooking"
"I'd rather just have you cook so I can eat." I said
"Come on it would be fun to cook together, don't you think? Plus its better to learn some new cooking skills now that you're living alone." He said
"I guess so."

He sighed putting down his spoon. I had been staring at my phone while eating. I looked at Kai wondering what he was sighing for.
"What?" I asked
"Why are you so focused on your phone when I'm right here in front of you?" He replied
"Sorry, that was rude of me. I'll put it away."
"What is it that you're so focused on?" He asked
I stayed quiet biting the inside of my cheeks. It'd be weird to talk about it right? I looked up to meet Kai's eyes. He looked concerned.
"You don't have to talk about it, its your choice." He paused for a second before continuing, "I'm sure he misses you just as much. He's going to be really busy now though. So just try and understand him." He sighed
I looked at Kai with my eyes widened. Was I really that obvious? He kept looking down at his plate. I guess I ruined the mood.
"I want to move on with my life." I said determined
He looked at me for a second then smiled. Then he looked down to the floor and chuckled softly.
"What." I couldn't help but laugh with him
"No its nothing don't worry." He smiled
I picked up my phone and searched my contacts. My eyes immediately landed on his contact. I'm going to delete it! My hand trembled badly as I pressed on the delete button.
Are you sure you want to delete 'Mr. Cold Guy'?
(Yes) (No)
My finger hovered over the yes button. In the end, I couldn't do it. I clicked no and sighed. I felt miserable. He's not going to talk to me anyways so why am I hesitating.
"It's not like he's gonna talk to me." I said with a shaky voice
"Hey, Don't force yourself to do anything Victoria. Wait until you're ready." He said
Kai lifted my chin and smiled towards me. I put my arms around him and pulled him close into a hug. I'm really grateful for having him around.
Sehun
"Sehun!" Mr. Lee barged into my office
"What."
"Your father is visiting. He says he needs to see you right away tomorrow morning."
I sighed and rolled my eyes. Giving me more work as soon as he gets out of the hospital. That sounds like him.
"I understand." I replied

I stared blankly at the ceiling feeling tired. What an exhausting day it was. But I just couldn't fall asleep. I stared at the ceiling lost in thought.
Does she think about me now and then?
I groaned and sat up. I grabbed my phone and clicked on her contact. I stared at it for a few seconds before I sighed and turned off my phone again. I shouldn't do anything irresponsible.
