Yasmin and Chris held Mason as he got sick all over the floor. Yas knew Mason never drinks and it alarmed her how sick he was. She rubbed his back, trying to comfort him.

Marissa stepped back in disgust at the mess but decided to stay. She wanted Mason and she knew he will be at his weakest when drunk.

"F*ck! I'm so sorry!" Mason moaned. Chris just shook his head, "Don't mind it man. This happens during parties. I'll ask the maids to clean it. Yas, why don't you bring Mason at one of the guestroom upstairs?" he said kindly.

"I'll help you." Marissa said. Yasmin looked at her warily but Mason was so heavy and she needed the help. "Ok, I'll take his left side and you can take his right side." They both took their side and helped Mason upstairs. Marissa's nose wrinkled in disgust at the smell of vomit and alcohol but held it all back. They pushed Mason on the bed the moment they reached the room. He fell drunkenly and fell asleep immediately.

"Thank you for the help Marissa but you can leave now." Yasmin said in a firm voice. She had a feeling that Marissa might take advantage of the situation.

Marissa raised her eyebrows and replied back,"Ok, I'll just clean up at the bathroom."

Yasmin removed her twin's shoes and unbuckled his belt to make him comfortable. She grabbed a blanket and covered him. She also took a pitcher of water with a glass and took some aspirin and laid it at the bedside table. She was getting worried. She had never seen Mason drunk. In fact, she seldom saw him take a drink. His life revolved around basketball and Sophie. She was amazed at the discipline that he had. She knew girls were always flirting with him but he had ignored them which was the reason why it surprised her when Mason said yes to Marissa.

"He will need to sleep this off." Chris said softly as he entered the room.

"Yes, I know. I'm worried Chris. Mace is never this way. He never drinks. What was he thinking? Coach might suspend him if word gets out."

"Don't worry, we'll contain the situation. He's a mess Yas. I don't know if he realizes it but his jealousy is getting destructive. I have a feeling that he doesn't even know that he's so deeply in love with Sophie. To be honest, the team had always been amazed at him. Remember, the time when there was a gossip that most of the basketball players had lewd photographs with women when we went to New York for our incentive trip because we won the championship?"

"Yes, I remember that one. I believe there were pictures of James and some of your team mates that leaked but the gossip died down after a few months."

"It was crazy. I have to be honest with you but there were girls, beautiful girls and most of the team were hooking up but did you know what Mason's reaction was?"

"What did he say to that?" Yas inquired.

"He was so angry and he kept on mumbling that Sophie will kill him. Everyone was teasing him but he just glared at us and locked himself in a room. Most of us got drunk and hooked up but not Mason."

Yasmin tensed and looked at him sharply, "So did you also hook up with anyone?"

"Ahahaha. Of course not Yas! I knew you'd kill me!" Chris said scratching the back of his head with eyes averted.

Yasmin smiled at his reply. "You better be telling the truth!"

"That's the truth but I got drunk. I think I might have finished a bottle of tequila. Anyway, what surprised me was that when I got up to my room with Mason, I saw Mason sleeping and he was holding his phone. I took it from him to place it on the table and you know what I saw?"

"What did you see?"

"I saw Sophie sleeping. They were talking to each other the whole time we were drinking and hooking up. I tried closing it and Mason's gallery popped up. It was full of Sophie 's pictures. It's crazy. I wouldn't be surprised if Mace is a virgin. It's like he's saving himself for Sophie. It feels like they are soulmates or lovers in their past lives."

"I know what you mean. Mace kept asking mom and dad to join Sophie and her parents when they went on a cruise for a month. They didn't agree so he was talking to Sophie the whole time. Mom and dad were laughing at him but you're right. It was like they were soulmates and that you couldn't separate them." Yasmin said in wonder.

"That's probably why Mason is acting crazy. He could not control his feelings especially now that Sophie is drifting away from him. I'm scared with what he will do when that happens. Can you imagine what he'll feel if Sophie stops going to his games? I'm not even sure if he will play if she isn't there." Chris said as though stating a fact.

"I'm scared Chris. We can't let that happen. I know how important basketball is to Mace."

"Oh, Yas, I know it's important to him but Sophie is way above basketball in the importance level. I don't think Mace would even care about basketball if she isn't there. Sophie and Mace are like two peas in one pod. Haven't you noticed how bizarre that they forget everyone when one of them gets sick. Didn't you see how panicked Sophie was awhile ago that Jason had to physically guide her outside when she saw Mason getting sick? I have a feeling I'd be seeing her again tomorrow."

"I'm afraid with what will happen if she comes over. Mason is bent on a destructive path. He's hurting Sophie the way she is hurting him and the irony of the situation is that Sophie wants to be with him if only he can admit to his feelings!" Yasmin said in exasperation.

"I know Yas but we're all tired so maybe we all just a need a rest," he said consolingly, why don't you take the room across Mace so we can have some rest. It's been a tiring night."

Yasmin nodded, followed Chris and proceeded to close Mason's door. They didn't see Marissa peeking across the hallway. She immediately went inside Mason's room when she saw Chris and Yasmin getting inside their respective rooms.

She glanced at Mason and smiled smugly. It irritated her that Mason seem so averse to her. She hated it when she heard gossip that Mason was just going out with her to make Sophie jealous. Mason was the only boy who wouldn't succumbed to her charms and it is destroying her reputation.

She smirked and pulled off Mason's shirt and pants. Mason just sighed irritatingly and tried to swat her away. She persisted and finally succeeded in removing his clothes. She smiled in triumph and proceeded to remove her clothes. She laid down on Mason's bare chest and took out her phone and snapped a picture of them. She grabbed the blanket and snuggled beside Mason and fell asleep smiling at what she did.

Uhoh! Marissa is getting evil. Do you think I should let Sophie go back to check on Mace? Will there be a catfight? Please leave a comment and let me know your thoughts. Appreciate if you could also vote! :)
