Hey guys! I'm back..... Hmmm, I wonder if anyone is still reading my book. I sincerely apologize for being out of the radar for so long. I finally completed my first full marathon in Athens last November! Yey! But... I'm never doing that again. It was seriously exhausting with all the uphill run from KM10 to KM32. I honestly would not have been able to finish it without my husband's support. He was holding my bottle container on the right hand, my isotonic drink on the left hand and was wearing a belt bag with our power gels and was cheering me the whole way.
He was so sweet and even had the time to massage my foot when I laid down, drained and exhausted in our hotel room. I thought I wouldn't be able to make it to our Santorini flight the next day but I was so happy my legs returned to normal with his power massage. He is one iron husband. lol. It was one heck of an amazing race and I'm so happy we finished it.
Now.. back to the story.

Jason was ever the gentleman when they arrived at the venue, helping Sophie get down and tucking her hands in his arms as they walked towards the door. They saw some of their classmates from the photography club taking pictures and immediately approached them when they saw Jason and Sophie together. Jason gamely posed for the camera but Sophie was a little bit uncomfortable with all the attention.
A photo booth was set up at the corner with a miniature Eiffel tower at the side in line with the Paris Grand Event theme. The line wasn't that long so they went to the booth. Jason was smiling at her and was teasing her if he still looks wonderful as a nerd upon picking a big plastic eyeglass among the props scattered inside a basket. Sophie just rolled her eyes but thought that he did look wonderful even with the large glasses perched on his nose. They posed for the pictures and waited as the photos were printed out.
Yasmin, Chris and Mason saw her and asked Jason if they can also take pictures with her. Jason shrugged and answered yes in reply although his eyes narrowed when he saw Mason. They posed as a group then Yas and Chris wanted a couple pic. Jason, Mason and Sophie were standing tensely at the side while watching the two kiss in front of the camera.
"Hey Mace, let's take a picture together with Sophie." Yas asked. She pulled them in front of the camera and they each took turns in picking up props. Yas laughed when she saw a clown hat and threw it at Mason. He jumped, aghast when he saw the hat.
"Ahahahah! You're still scared of clowns Mace!" Sophie laughed, slapping his arms.
"I'm not scared of them. They're just disgusting. Why are they bringing clown hats if the theme is Paris?"
Yasmin just laughed as they finish the last set. "How about you two take a picture? I mean if that's ok with Jason." she asked snidely. Jason frowned but said he's fine with it if Sophie wanted to take a picture. Sophie just nodded and stood beside Mason in front of the camera.
"You want us to use props?" she asked Mason.
"No, I want to take a picture just the way you are. You look wonderful G." he said peering into her eyes and leaning beside her, while softly pulling her to his side as they posed. It was bittersweet taking a picture with Sophie and Mason was feeling sad as it ended and he saw Jason escorting her to their table.
Jason and Sophie walked towards their table and were surprised when they saw that they were seated together with Mason and the basketball team. She was seated beside Jason and Mason and the atmosphere was getting tensed.
The prom started with an opening remark from their school principal followed by the announcement of the Prom King and Queen to start the dance proper. The students have voted a week before and it was assumed that Marissa and Mason will probably win.
