They spent nearly 4 hours on the bench.
Sitting and talking.
Appreciating the natural beauty around them.
"Look! Do you see it?"
Blue would exclaim, pointing out something so simple or small.
An ant carrying a crumb across the grass, the way a little girls pig tails waved as she ran, the sound of a stream running nearby and out of sight.
All small things that go unnoticed.
Grey watched Blue.
The way her eyes would lighten right before she'd reach over and grab his hand pointing out something else she found.
He couldn't help but chuckle at her excitement.
The way she would stare in amazement.
She was so beautiful to be around.
She never smiled, just watched in awe.
The corners of her mouth would be drawn slightly up, in one of her almost smiles that Grey was getting accustomed to.
It was a day he'd never forget.
The first of many more unforgettable moments to come.

Teen Fiction-excerpt- "She was a pretty sight to see. She'd look even prettier if she smiled. But she never did. Only watched, silent, thoughtful, blue. Blue hair, blue eyes, blue girl. A beautiful, blue, strange creature." _____________________________________...
