Grey waited a little while longer while he contemplated what he should do next.
Her voice rang through his head.
Number 24... hm...
Grey knew he shouldn't but he had an urge to go to her.
To find her apartment.
Just to see her again.
He pushed away his ridiculous thoughts and turned to head back home when out of the corner of his eye he noticed something that quickly changed his mind.
A fire escape, silver and shiny, taunting him to climb up and find Blue.
He didn't give it a second thought before stuffing his hands in his pockets and walking towards it.
He looked around, and then placed his hands on the bottom rungs of the first ladder.
He climbed up to the first landing, praying he'd find her.
And then, as if she'd heard his silent prayers, a window was thrown open on the landing above him and a figure climbed out.
"Blue?"
The figure peered down at him and Grey smiled and waved.
"Grey?"
