Grey got up and stretched.
"I guess I have to go..."
Blue sighed.
"Yeah. You probably should."
Grey sighed.
"Will I see you today?"
Blue tilted her head and looked at him.
"Wouldn't miss it."
He smiled in reply and walked over to the window.
"I'll see you at the park then."
Her response was a half smile and a curt nod.
She watched as he pulled open the window and stepped out.
Once last glance.
He waved before climbing down.
And that was that.
Blue opened her bedroom door and snuck out to her living room.
Everything looked the same as always.
Light coming in through the windows across the room.
But something felt different.
Her mom's bedroom door was closed as it should be.
Same with her sisters.
She shook her head and rubbed her eyes.
Nothing changed.
So why does everything feel so different?
