When Blue walked in the door she braced herself for the scene that was about to unfold.
She took a deep breath, twisted the handle and pulled open the door to her apartment.
Brace for it...
She heard the familiar sound of her moms wheelchair, squeaking and rattling towards the door, an exclamation of relief and then-
"Where have you been missy? Do you know what time it is? Do you know how upset you made me and your sister? You know your curfew, there's no excuse-"
Blue sighed and closed the door behind her.
She kicked off her dirty shoes and pulled off her coat, preparing to answer the torrent of questions her mother was shooting at her.
"And imagine, me here, not knowing who you're with or where you are. Your poor sister looking everywhere," her mother continued.
Blue walked towards the living room, where her mom sat in her wheelchair in the doorway, her arms crossed and her face angry.
This js going to be a long night...
