Blue wiped her tear streaked face.
"What are you doing here? Why-"
"I didn't get the chance to say goodbye,"
Blue shook her head and sat down on the landing outside her window, her legs hanging through the metal bars.
"Well, goodbye then I guess,"
She mumbled, staring out at the horizon.
"Goodbye,"
Grey replied.
There was a moment of silence.
Blue sighed and closed her eyes.
When she opened them Grey still stood on the landing below, not having moved an inch.
"Aren't you gonna... like... go?"
Grey shrugged.
"I probably should."
He said, moving to the next set of rungs.
But instead of going down, he climbed up.
"Then, why aren't you?"
He got to the top and sat beside her.
"I don't know."
Blue looked at him sideways.
"Do you want me to leave?"
He asked.
Blue sighed deeply and leaned her head against his shoulder.
"No. No I don't."
