She wiped furiously at the tears forming, hating herself for being so overly emotional.
Grey's concerned gaze was fixed on her, and he made a move to comfort her.
He sat beside her, in between her small frame and the wall, an arm around her as he rubbed her shoulder and arm soothingly.
"I'm okay. I'm alright, it was a while ago..."
She said dismissively.
"That doesn't always make it easier."
She leaned into him, taking comfort in his closeness.
"What about your parents?"
He shrugged.
"Not much to tell. My dad Derek is a workaholic, always deep in paperwork. My mom's name is Sophie and she- well she left when I was young so I don't really remember her."
He trailed off, Blue looking up at him sympathetically.
"Like I said, not very interesting."
"It's interesting to me,"
Grey smiled down at her.
Her blue hair was ruffled, her eyes a startling dark blue against her pale skin.
Her face was usually solemn, her eyebrows drawn together, her lips a straight line.
There was no single word to describe her.
"Why are you staring?"
"Why wouldn't I?"
