Skylar's P.O.V.

"Alright. So this is Grayson's room, he spends most of his time in here, so just go ahead and knock if you ever need him." She said gesturing to the closed door.

"Thanks again for the tour, Amy."

"Oh it's not a problem, dear. Follow me!"

I chuckle quietly at her excited manner.

"So here's your room! It sort of plain right now, since it's only the guest room, but you can change it however you'd like."

She opens the door for me and I gladly walk in. Woah...

"This room is bigger than my entire house." I gush while spinning in circles.

She looks at me with a grateful smile. Not being able to control myself any longer, I jump into her arms and hug her tightly.

"Thank you so much, Amy." I say quietly.

"You're very welcome, sweetheart."

I hold on a bit longer and suddenly the door opens.

"Hey! Where's my hug?" A deep voice asks behind me.

I turn to look at the source of the sound and see a tall boy who looks a lot like Grayson.

"Axel!" Amy shouts as she runs and hugs him.

"Hey, mom. But I was actually talking to the pretty lady over there." He says before winking at me.

My eyes widen. What? Why would he want a hug from me?

"Oh, you!" She playfully smacks his arm.

"Skylar, this is my other son, Axel. Axel, this is Skylar."

"Hi." I say quietly.

"Awww she's shy too! That's adorable." He gushes.

I feel the blush rising in my cheeks.

"Beat it, Axel. This one's mine." Grayson growls as he walks in the room.

He places an arm around my waist protectively and pulls me closer to him. My face turns even redder at his words.

This one's mine.
She's mine.
Mine.

"Hey, little bro! No need to worry. I won't go stealing your girl."

Grayson rolls his eyes at his brothers words.

"Right. Why are you here?" He asks.

"I came to see you guys! I have a break. I'll be here all month. Maybe even longer." He says evilly. He walks forward until he's an arms length away, staring at Grayson, who's currently shooting daggers at his brother.

"Oh, that's great!" His mother cheers.

She notices the intense stare down between the boys and clears her throat awkwardly.

"Um, Axel. Why don't you go say hello to your father?" She suggests.

"Sure. See you soon, babe." He says teasingly.

He takes my hand and kisses my knuckles, not breaking eye contact for a second.

Grayson's hold tightens around my waist as he glares at Axel's retreating figure.

"I'm going to go help him unpack." Amy says uncomfortably.

I turn to Grayson with a confused look on my face.

"What the hell just happened?" I demanded.

"Axel happened. He's Nineteen, it's his first year of college and he's already slept with half the university."
