Skylar's P.O.V.
Was I an idiot to agree to this? Yes.
Do I regret it? You bet.
Am I getting out of this? Absolutely not.
I'm currently in the car with Grayson on our way home. I think this was the only time I actually wanted to stay at the mall, but only to avoid what's yet to come when we enter the doors of Grayson's house.
Neither of us has said a word since we left the store. But it's a comfortable silence.
Before leaving Victoria's Secret, Grayson insisted that we get him a black bra instead because, and I quote, 'Black is sexier and goes better with my complexion.'
Yes. I have a crush on this idiot.
We're still about ten minutes away from home, and the silence is killing me. I reach over to turn on the radio but Grayson smacks my hand away.
I shoot him a 'what the hell?' Look, and he just smirks at me.
"You have to sit in uncomfortable silence when you're leading into a competition." He says in a 'duh' tone.
"That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard."
"Too bad Princess. It's a rule. Relax, we're almost home anyways."
"Still like ten minutes." I mumbled.
"Oh so you want a shorter ride?"
I raise an eyebrow at him. He smirks and allows more pressure against the gas pedal. Shit.
We speed through the streets, passing any cars in our way. I'm holding on for dear life, while Grayson sits beside me laughing his ass off.
When we finally come to a stop, I force my eyes open and see that we're in Grayson's driveway. Thank god...
Wait. No! Go back to the deadly ride!
"You ready for the game Princess?" He asks with a smirk.
"No, not really, but I don't really have a choice anymore, do I?"
"Nope!" He replies, popping the 'p'.
I groan and climb out of the car, Grayson following closely behind. Once we open the front door, I see that the house is completely empty. I turn around and see that the driveway is as well.
"Perfect." Grayson says from behind me.
He wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me back into his chest.
"We wouldn't want anyone to hear us." He whispers.
I shiver and pull away, turning to him.
"And they won't. Because it's a game. Nothing else. We aren't having sex. Or making out. It's just a game."
"For now." He adds.
I roll my eyes and walk upstairs with Grayson trailing behind me like a lost puppy.
"What are you doing?" I ask.
"We're going to my room. You know. For the game." He says with a slight smirk.
"We're doing that now?"
"Yep!"
He grabs my hand and drags me the rest of the way to his room.
"Go get ready Princess." He says pointing to the bathroom. "Unless you want to change here that is." He wiggles his eyebrows suggestively.
"In your dreams Edwards."
