Grayson's P.O.V.
After our big finale and announcement this morning, the girls have both started feeling guilty.
Especially Skylar.
She keeps saying that it's her fault for being, and I quote, 'a whiny, jealous bitch'.
This occurred about two seconds ago while we were walking toward her locker with the others. After hearing this, we all knew it wouldn't end well for her.
Without hesitation, I grab her forearm, careful not to hurt her, and stop her from walking any further.
"What did you just call yourself?" I ask lowly.
"A whiny, jealous bitch...?" She says cautiously.
I let out a barely audible growl from deep in the back of my throat. Then, in one swift motion, I reach over and pick her up bridal style, only to set her down gently with her back on the the ground.
Her eyes widen in shock as I sit down with my legs straddling her hips, careful not to put too much of my weight on her.
I lean down slowly, stopping as my chest presses against hers and my lips get close enough to tickle her ear with my breath.
"No one is ever allowed to insult you. That includes you too. Never say anything like that about yourself again. Got it?" I ask huskily.
She nods quickly, most likely not trusting her voice. I glance around at the attention we've drawn, smirking as an idea pops into my head.
I look down at her with a mischievous grin, earning a pleading look in return. I send one last glance to our audience before smashing my lips down on hers. And due to our position, she has no choice but to kiss me back.
Damn, I need to kiss her like this more often.
Eventually, I pull away for air, smiling down at my flustered girlfriend. She glares at me through her blush and pushes on my chest, but I don't budge.
"Get off. People are staring." She hisses.
"Sorry, Princess. But I'm not moving until I get one more kiss."
I bring my head up slightly, just enough to make it necessary for her to move. I stare down at her for a moment, and see her frantically looking at all the students watching, then trying to hide her face.
I frown slightly and lower my face back to hers to whisper something in her ear.
"Princess, none of them are thinking anything bad about you, I promise. They're all just jealous of the relationship I have with the kindest smartest, most beautiful girl here. They're jealous that I got you."
And with that, she loops her arms around my neck and pushes off the ground with her foot, effectively flipping us so she's on top.
She slams her lips against mine for a while, though refuses to grant my tongue access.
After a few minutes, she sits up, her legs straddling my abdomen, and smirks at me.
"You're an ass." She says simply.
Then, before I can stop her, she stands up off of my lap and starts walking away. Carter laughs, while Isaac and Spencer high five her.
Skylar then whispers something to Isaac, who grins in response and turns around, bending his knees slightly.
She grips his shoulders and jumps onto him for a piggy back ride. He tosses her up slightly to get a better hold, at which she squeaks. And without another word, all four of them are gone.
