Skylar's P.O.V.

It's been about four hours since we arrived home from school.

Of course, like any normal teenagers, we're still on the couch.

Although, Axel is now on the recliner because apparently, we're too 'mushy'.

In the words of a nineteen year old former college student. A true inspiration to children of all ages.

I'll admit, there has been a fair amount of kissing and cuddling going on between Grayson and me, but I don't think we've become, 'mushy'.

Either way, he's now at least six feet away on a different chair, while the two of us lay across the larger sofa, me on top of Grayson.

Amy and Sean are both up in their bedroom having some 'alone time', which received nothing more than a grimace from both of the Edwards brothers.

Ever since we first got home, there's been something going on in Grayson's head.

He claims to have forgotten something important. I can't imagine what he could have possibly forgotten at school, but it must be a big deal if I can practically hear the gears turning in his head.

Even when we're kissing, I can just tell that his head's somewhere else.

Maybe I'm just a bad kisser.

"I got it!" He exclaims.

As the words leave his mouth, he shoots to sit up straight. Of course, with my position on top of him, this action sends me flying to the floor with a squeal.

Axel purses his lip together to contain a chuckle, which had escaped anyways.

Grayson stares down at me with wide eyes for a moment before standing up from the couch fully and helping me up.

"Sorry, Princess. I'll make it up to you later."

He pecks my cheek softly and I grumble a doubtful response.

Isn't he supposed to be 'making it up to me' right now?

"What's so important that you flung your girlfriend?" Axel asks, amusement twinkling in his eyes.

I shoot him a glare, but his expression doesn't falter in the slightest.

"I remembered what's been trapped in my head for the past four hours." He informs us.

"And that is?" I mutter irritatedly.

He turns to grin at me. "Britney and Mia were both expelled."

My jaw drops and for a moment, I'm rendered completely speechless.

"Th-they what?" I stutter.

My gaze flickers to Axel, who's currently in the same shocked trance that I had only broken out of moments ago.

"They were expelled." Grayson repeats. "Both of them. Gone. Forever."

I swallow the lump in my throat and flick my tongue out to dampen my bottom lip.

"What about graduation?"

He shrugs. "They'll continue their work at home and graduate with us. Just not... With us."

"What about prom?"

Another shrug. "I'm assuming that they were secluded from that as well, but I didn't get any minor details."

The corners of my lip twitch upward slightly in a smile, though quickly fall back to a frown as guilt swells through my system.

"No, no, no. Don't do that." Gray orders. "Don't feel sad, or upset, or guilty, or whatever the hell is causing that frown. They deserve everything that's coming to them, and so much more."
