A/N: I know, I know. It's been a good century and a half since my last update. I'm all aware, and so sorry! I won't give you guys any excuses, but I will honestly say that I'm so tired of this book. I'll finish it, as I've stuff before, but it may take me a bit longer to publish chapters because all motivation is completely gone. I'll try not to let it affect me, but we all know how that goes. That main issue is that I've grown so much as a writer and I can't show that with this book or through these characters that have already developed more than necessary. Let's all be honest here, this book ended the second Skylar and Grayson got together in the eighteenth chapter. Now it's the hundredth chapter! I don't know what I was thinking dragging this book on so needlessly long, but it will be ending in the next chapter or two. I'm sorry, and I love you guys so much! Here's your crappy chapter... -Rhy0815 xx
(I know it's been a while, so here's a brief recap.)
" "I like it." Grayson grins. "It's perfect."
I nod with a smile. "Yeah, it suits him."
He hugs me tighter from behind and leans his head into the crook of my neck. "It'll be like practice for the future, for when we have kids." He mumbles.
"Yeah, practice." I smile, but I can't help but feel a small bit of worry from his words.
What if we can't even take care of this puppy? "
Here you go!
Grayson's P.O.V.
"Are you ready to go?"
I watch in amusement as the large pile of blankets wobbles slightly on my bed with the muffled voice beneath them.
I smile, walking over to the fluffy heap with quiet steps. I sit down beside her gently and put my hand on top of the mound. "Princess, it'll be okay."
I jump back, the flying blankets just barely missing my face as she shoots up to look as me with her hair skewed in every possible direction. "No, it won't!" She cries out, slamming her face back down onto the mattress.
I sigh softly and rub a hand up and down her back in comforting motions. "Baby, it's not the end of the world."
"It's the end of our world." She whimpers out quietly, and my heart breaks a little. "Things will never be the same for us again."
"I know, Princess." I tell her gently. "But, is that really such a bad thing? We can move forward and grow now."
"Well, why can't we do that with them?" She whines pathetically.
"You act like we'll never see them again."
"Maybe we won't! Maybe they'll forget all about us when they leave and we'll never hear from them again. Then you'll get a phone call from one of them asking you to go and live with them in their fancy mansion on the other side of the world and you'll tell me that it was a wrong number, just so that I don't expect it when you leave me in the middle of the night with a note that says you're breaking up with me and then you'll find a hot, Australian supermodel with bigger boobs then me!"
I curl my lips into my mouth and bite down to keep from laughing at her disheveled appearance and wild tale.
"Princess," I say calmly, "I love you, alright? You. I have no interest in a hot, Australian supermodel, or her boobs. They won't forget about us, either. We'll talk everyday and see each other on every break we get. It'll be okay. Will you sit up now?"
I hear her sigh dramatically before shoving herself to a sitting position with her legs crossed over one another and her hair in her face.
I pet down a few strands, smiling when I can finally make out her facial features again. "There you are, I was beginning to miss you."
