Grayson's P.O.V.

"Skylar... Who's Jess?"

I watch as her eyes widen and her small hands clench into fists. Shit. Why would I just come out and ask a question like that!? It's obviously a delicate topic for her. Now she'll hate me.

"You deserve to know." She says quietly. Wait, what? "But not here. And not now. We'll get the others first. Even Spencer doesn't know, but I think it's time I tell you guys everything."

I lean forward slightly, searching her face for any regret or fear. All I see is relief. I nod slowly in understanding before standing up. I reach my hand out to her and she only stares at it, one eyebrow raised.

"Oh, come on. I don't bite." Leaning down further, I lower my voice to a raspy whisper. "Unless you like it rough."

Her face immediately heats up and her eyes widen at my comment. She's so god damn cute.

I smile down at her and extend my hand once again. She takes it hesitantly, allowing me to pull her up.

I intertwine our hands together, leading her to our seat on the bleachers. As we arrive, I pull her onto my lap, kissing her neck lightly.

"Stop it." She giggles.

"Why?" I mutter against her skin.

"Because..."

"Because...?"

"Because I'll end up doing something I'd rather not do in front of the entire highschool." She rushes out.

I chuckle softly before gesturing to the deserted area with my hand.

"It's empty, Princess. Everyone's in class." Once again, I force my voice to a low, sexy whisper. "No one's watching us."

She shivers slightly as my hot breath makes contact with her cold skin. I tilt my head slightly and move my hands from her waist to her bare arms.

I gasp as I'm met with ice cold skin and goosebumps. Rubbing her arms up and down, I begin mumbling incoherently.

"Baby, you're fucking freezing." I fuss.

She shivers slightly and gives me a sheepish smile.

"Sorry. Am I making you cold?"

She moves to get off of my lap, though I tighten my grip around her, keeping her back pressed against my chest.

"No, no, no. Princess, you can't just sit here and freeze."

I began to take off my sweatshirt, though she placed a hand on my chest to stop me. I raised an eyebrow in confusion and she sighed.

"You'll be cold."

In return, I only scoffed and tore off the hoodie before she could stop me again. I quickly helped her put in on, then pulled her tighter against me to warm her up.

After few minutes of that, her shivering stopped. I snaked one arm below her knees, and another around her back. In one swift movement, I was standing, with her cradled in my arms.

"Let's go back inside."

She nods slightly and buries her face in my chest. I fight back an 'awe' at her cuteness, though remember that she needs to get inside and raise her body temperature back to normal.

I walk briskly across the field, arriving after a few short minutes. Pushing through the door, I make my way to a bench and sit down, allowing her to cuddle into my lap.

"You're so fucking cute." I mumble.

She looks up to me with an adorable smile, her eyes wide and shiny, her lips turned up in a shy grin. The look she gives me after every compliment.
