Skylar's P.O.V.
It's been four days since Grayson and I had started dating, and it's as if the entire male population decided to avoid me like the plague.
I can't really blame them. I mean after Grayson's proposal, and his threat. I would be scared of him too.
Carter and Isaac still talk to me since we're all friends. But they know not to flirt, or even pretend to.
So overall nothing's really changed. Except now the boys all seem afraid to even look at me, when it used to be the other way around. You don't hear me complaining.
It's currently our lunch period, I'm at our regular spot with Grayson, Isaac and Spencer. While Carter runs around doing, god knows what.
He spends more time with us now, but still not as much as when we first became friends. Maybe he just got tired of us?
I'm snapped out of my thoughts when a boy who I've never seen before walks up the bleachers.
Grayson visibly tenses and slides his arm around my waist protectively. I send him a reassuring smile before turning to the boy.
"Hi. Can we help you?" I ask politely.
"H-hey uhm y-yeah I think so." He stutters. "Uhm are y-you Skylar Michaels?"
"No. She's not. She's Clarissa Heiberneison and she's taken. Run along." Grayson cuts in rudely.
I slap the back of his head and turn to the mystery guy.
"I'm sorry about him. But yes, I'm Skylar. Do I know you?"
"Uh well no, I'm new to Eastwood. But the principal said I could find you here. He said you're supposed to show me around school." He says, slightly more confident.
"Oh! Uhm okay. Let me see your schedule."
Grayson growls lowly, barely audible, but I still catch it. I shoot him a warning glare and he puts his hands up in surrender.
Stranger Joe- (That's what I'm gonna call him.) -took out a crumpled piece of paper and handed it to me. I unfold it and skim over his classes. He has every lesson with me.
"Wow! We have all of the same classes!" I exclaim.
Grayson tightens his hold around me, but I ignore it and focus on the nervous guy standing awkwardly before us.
"Okay, well I'll walk you to your classes so you can see where all of them are. But for now, you're welcome to eat lunch with us." I offer.
"He is?" Grayson asks.
"Yes. He is. If you want to that is." I say.
"O-oh uhm I guess so..."
He sits down next to me and Grayson's pulls me closer to his side so I'm not as close to Stranger Joe.
"So these are my friends, Isaac and Spencer. There's usually one more named Carter. And this is Grayson-"
"Her boyfriend." Grayson interrupts me.
"Uh nice to meet you guys. I'm Elliot." He greets.
"Nice to meet you Elliot. Now, if you want to survive, don't flirt with Skylar. Grayson will tear you limb from limb." Isaac advises.
Stranger Joe- I mean Elliot, gulps in fear before nodding wildly. I give him an apologetic smile and shrug.
"Guys, you're going to scare him away." Spencer laughs out.
"That's the goal." Grayson growls.
"Awww. Don't be jealous." I say as I pinch his cheeks.
Elliot pulls out a bottle of water and takes a long drink.
