Skylar's P.O.V.

I groan, flailing my arm out to the side in attempt to silence Grayson's stupid alarm.

Unfortunately... I'm facing the opposite direction, which leaves the incoming hand to slap my peacefully snoring boyfriend on the cheek.

He releases a low grumble and drags a palm up to his face.

"What the fuck." He mutters.

I purse my lips to contain a giggle, rolling over to actually stop the alarm clock.

Grayson mumbles incoherent gibberish under his breath and grabs my hip, pulling me back into his chest.

I roll over in his arms and cup his cheek in my small hand. He tilts his head slightly and kisses my palm before tucking his head into my neck.

"Gray, we have to go to school."

He groans in protest and shoves his head further into the crook between my shoulder and neck.

I jump slightly as something warm and moist flicks over my cold skin, though my shock soon changes to annoyance when I find the perpetrator behind it.

"Grayson Miriam Edwards, don't you dare give me a hickey right now."

I feel his lips curve up into a smirk against my flesh as his hands continue to roam my waist, back, and stomach.

"So, I can give you a hickey later...?"

I roll my eyes. "You can do whatever you want later. But right now, we need to get to school."

"You know, I'm definitely taking you up at on that 'whatever I want' offer."

I scoff. "I'm sure you are, but you can't at the moment. We need to go to the office early for my new schedule."

He sighs. "Do you really need to switch classes?"

I smile sadly and run my fingers through his hair the way I know he loves.

"Yes, Grayson. I really do. I just can't handle it after everything that happened. I'm sorry."

He removes his head from my shoulder, rising up to look me in the eye.

"I get it. I would transfer out too if I could, but my mom says I can't switch any more classes."

I giggle softly. "To be fair, you've changed four already."

"To be with you!" He defends.

I grin and peck the tip of his nose lightly.

"And it was very sweet of you, but the school year's almost over anyways. I think you can survive a few weeks without me in class."

He let's out a long, childish whine and pulls me impossibly closer.

"No I can't." He mumbles.

I roll my eyes. "Well, you're gonna have to. And don't forget, I'm still mad at you."

He sighs and tucks a strand of hair behind my ear, leaving his hand to linger on my cheek.

"That's understandable. But I promise, I'll find some way to make it up to you."

I smile softly. "You always do."

Fifteen Minutes Later...

"Why did we have to walk?" He groans out.

I roll my eyes. "It's only been six minutes, you'll survive another five."
