Skylar's P.O.V.

It's been a total of eleven days since Grayson's pre-proposal. And within those eleven days, we've... Celebrated, eight times.

It's now Monday, and my legs are in no condition to attend school. Unfortunately, my boyfriend has made it very clear that there will be no more ditching.

As usual, he's a peppy idiot after sex. It's definitely gotten on my nerves, but I can't lie, it's pretty cute.

"Good morning, my little sugar plum!"

"Sugar plum? Grayson Miriam Edwards, I am this close to kicking you out of my bed."

He chuckles softly.

"Sorry, Princess. By the way, if you ever tell anyone my middle name, I know where you live." He threatens.

"Oh please. You're completely incapable of physically hurting me."

"What makes you so sure?"

"Are you serious?" I laugh. "You told my teacher that she couldn't give me homework any more because one of her worksheets gave me a paper cut."

"It was a bad cut!" He defends.

"Doesn't matter. You're adorably protective, and you couldn't hurt me if you wanted to."

"You're right." He sighs.

"You make it sound like a bad thing. Do you want to hurt me?"

"Of course not! It's just weird to see how soft I've become ever since you came into my life."

I give a small grin.

"Well even before you met me, you would never hit a girl."

"I know, but just in general. We all know that I've lost my 'badboy edge' since you showed up."

"Sorry..." I say sheepishly.

"Don't apologize, Princess. It's a good thing. You'll never hear me complaining about being a good guy. I love you, and I love who I've become because of you."

I smile proudly. "I love you too. You've saved my life... Multiple times... And you've taught me not only to love you, but to love myself. And I could never thank you enough for that."

Grayson's warm smile quickly shifts to a smirk as he leans in closely to whisper in my ear.

"I could think of a few ways you can thank me."

Ignoring the heat rising in my cheeks, I slap his shoulder lightly.

"No more sex! I need a break. I can't feel my poor legs."

He chuckles softly and pecks my forehead.

"Alright, fine. We'll hold off for a bit."

I let out a breath of relief and sit up. He groans in protest and tries to pull me back down.

"Grayson, we have to go to school. No more ditching, it was your rule. Remember?"

He sighs. "Unfortunately I do."

School hasn't been so bad lately. Luke no longer comes up to talk to us, though does send me apologetic smiles every time we pass in the halls.

We did end up finishing our project for Spanish, which wasn't as bad as I thought. Just in case he tried to rape or hit me again, I didn't dare tell him Grayson's address.

I knew it was just as bad of an idea to go to his house, so that was also out. We agreed on a small coffee shop around the corner from school. Grayson came with, but stayed on his phone the whole time.
