Zylanne Cher's Point of View:

Dahan-dahan akong nagtungo sa study ni daddy. It's already 9 but he is not in his room yet. He is probably here.

"Cherry. You can't. Sorry. When she heard you last time on the phone, she's so mad. I can't lose her. I'm sorr---"

"Dad?"I uttered after pushing the glass door. "Dad! It was her that you're with last time!  How could you!!! I hate you!!!!"I said and stormed out of the room.

Nakikipagkita pa siya sa babaeng 'yon? Kailan pa? Hindi ko mapigilang umiyak habang tumatakbo ako palabas ng bahay. Why is dad betraying me? Whyyy!!!!!

"Babe?"

"Dyll. Sunduin mo 'ko please."

"What happened? Where are you?"

"I'm here at the park. Please hurry, Dyll."

Dumating naman siya kaagad. Isinama niya ako sa crash pad niya.

"Cher? Anong nangyari? Ba't umiiyak ka ng ganyan?"

Napahagulhol ako sa tanong niya.

"Babe?"nag-aalalang tawag niya habang pinupunasan niya ang luha ko.

"Si daddy... nakikipagkita pa siya sa manloloko na 'yon. He betrayed me. I hate him... hinding-hindi na ako babalik sa kanya."

"Cher? You can't. You have to go home. It's your dad!"

"No! He lied to me! He promised me! Naiintindihan mo ba Dyll? My stupid mother left us when I was still six and that was twelve years ago! Hindi siya bumalik! Malalaman ko nalang ngayon na nakikipagkita si daddy sa kanya! That woman did nothing but hurt him!"

"Cher..."

"Ayoko. Ayokong umuwi."

After an hour, everyone in the house kept calling me. Miah, Ember, Damon and dad.

"Cher. You have to answer them."

"Ayoko nga eh!"

"Cher, I understand why---"

"No, you don't Dyll! Hindi mo ako naiintindihan! Hindi mo nararamdaman 'yong sakit na nararamdaman ko habang pinapanood ko si daddy na nasasaktan dahil sa babaeng 'yon!!!"

"I exactly know the feeling Cher because I watched my mother died crying over my worthless father!"he blared, making me totally dumbfounded. What did he say?

"He was hurting my mom not only emotionally but physically as well. In front of me, sinasaktan niya 'yong mommy ko. Harap-harapan niyang sinisigawan na wala siyang kwenta at hindi na na niya siya mahal."he paused and blinked off the tears from his eyes. "She still uttered his name until her last breath. I exactly know what you feel Cher."

Lumapit ako sa kanya't niyakap siya.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know."

"You have to talk to your dad and listen to him. I swear Cher, you won't like the feeling of losing the only person you don't want to lose."

"No. I can't Dyll. I don't want to listen to anything about her. I don't even want to see her. It was so ridiculous because I heard her voice last time but I didn't recognize her. Haha. Twelve years. Twelve years na hindi siya nagpakita at nagparamdam sa'kin kaya hindi ko na maalala 'yong boses niya. Hindi ko maalala kung magkapareho ba 'yong mata namin kasi 'yong sa'min ni daddy... Hindi ko na maalala kung ano'ng mukha niya. I can't remember anything about her. I can't remember anything other than hating her."

Nine years ago... sa dami ng mga pictures niya dati sa bahay, walang akong tinira. Sinunog ko lahat ng bagay na makakapagpaalala sa kanya. Sinunog ko ang pagmamahal ko sa kanya... ang pag-asang babalik siya. Sinunog ko lahat. Tanging ang pagkamuhi ang itinira ko at ang pangakong hinding-hindi ko na siya tatanggapin pa ulit sa buhay ko. Pinili niyang mang-iwan kaya wala na siyang dapat na balikan.
