Niyakap agad ako nina Miah at Cher nang humagulhol ako sa kwarto.

Yumakap agad ako sa kanya.

He hugged me back and kissed my forehead. When he let go of me and headed to the door, I turned to frowns.

He just smiled. Then he turned his back on me and got out of the door. But before he left, I saw the tear that came out from his enthralling eyes.

"Damonnn!!!!"sigaw ko hahang nagmamadali akong tumakbo palabas.

"Ma'am Cher. Pasensiya na po. Hindi po kayo pwedeng lumabas ng kwarto."awat ng isang katulong na nasa labas ng kwarto.

"Si dad ba ang may pakana nito? Daddy!!!! Daddy!!! Mag-usap tayo!!!!"sigaw ko habang hinihila ako nina Miah at Ember pabalik sa kwarto.

Napaparanoid ka na dad! Nababaliw ka na! Hindi na kita maintindihan!!!

"Cher... Tumahan ka na. Damon will be alright."saway ni Miah sa'kin.

"Hindi ko lang kasi maintindihan. Hindi ko alam kung ano ang nangyayari kay daddy. Hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit kailangan niyang idamay si Damon."I muttered as I can't help myself from crying.

Earlier that afternoon, dumating si Dyll.

Nagulat nalang ako nang umiyak siya habang niyayakap ako.

"Cher, ano 'to? Ba't ganito? Okay naman tayo bago ka umalis kasama ang lalaking 'yon ah! Let me understand Cher. I really don't know what's going on."he pleaded.

"Why did you hide from me the truth about your stepmother!"

"What's with her? I don't even care about her! I don't know anything about her, I swear to God, Cher."he contended making me break down to tears.

"All I know is she's the woman dad has been crazy about since he was younger. But I don't care about him. Wala akong pakialam sa buhay niya."saad niya nang harapin ko siya.

"Why Cher? Why did you make me believe that you will always be here for me? Why are you hurting me now?"he asked after a few minutes making my chest pained with guilt. "Cher. You can't do this to me. Hindi ko kaya."

I was literally shivering when he suddenly knelt down, braced his arms around my knees and sobbed.

"Dyll... get up there!"

Hindi siya nagsalita. Humahagulhol siya habang humihigpit ang pagkapit niya sa mga binti ko.

"Dyll. Please---"

"No... no, Cher."he cried out. "No... you can't do this to me. I really don't know what's with my stepmother. I swear. Cher. Don't do this to me..."

Sht. Hindi ko alam kung ano ang gagawin ko.

"Tumayo ka diyan. Dyll. Ano ba?"naiinis na utos ko sa kanya.

Umiling-iling siya.

"Ang sakit Cher. Naniwala akong hindi mo 'ko sasaktan. Ang sakit-sakit. Ang sikip sikip ng dibdib ko."patuloy na iyak niya hanggang sa bitawan niya ako.

Parang batang nakaluhod siya sa sahig habang patuloy sa pag-hagulhol. Oh. Shit. Why does it have to happen? Ano'ng gagawin ko?

In the end, I found myself hugging him.

"Dyll. I'm so sorry."

Yumakap siya sa'kin at humagulhol sa balikat ko.

"Wag mo 'kong iwan Cher. Hindi ko kaya. Hindi ko kaya..."
