Chapter 21

Dyll's Point of View:

Nang tawagan ako ni Symonn kanina na nakita niya sa bar si Cher, muntik ko ng masuntok ang sarili ko dahil hindi ako makatakas sa meeting na sinet ng magaling kong ama. After an hour or so, he texted me that he followed them and they went in a hotel. All the blood rose to my head and I didn't care if dad will  abandon me. I just can't let Cher mess with a jerk! I was so fcking mad that I promised I'm going to kill that stupid cow.

Shit. Paano kung magalit si Cher? I asked myself when I realized it. Paano kung gusto talaga ni Cher ang gago na 'yon at kagustuhan niyang sumama rito? Even though it pricked my heart, I forced myself to stay and just wait for her.

But when I saw her walked out from the lobby, I almost broke down. She was smiling widely. My heart constricted, making it really hard for me to breathe.

Now, she's trying to tell me it's not what I was thinking!!! What the fck! I care for her like she's worth more than anything. It made me so raging furious at the thought that someone foolish is just going to mess her life.

"I know you're going to say that. That's the reason why I'd rather not talk about it. Let's forget that it happened please."pagmamakaawa ko sa kanya.

"It's really not---"

"Please Cher."

I revived the engine of the car and drove her straight home silently. It's been a few minutes since we arrived and she didn't move. She didn't get out of my car.

"It hurts so much, Cher. I can't almost feel my heart."mahinang sambit ko samantalang hindi ko na napigilang tumulo ang mga nagbabadyang luha na kanina ko pa pinipigilan.

"Dyll. Listen to me, please. Just this once."she pleaded and how could I say no to her? She's always so adorable and nobody can't spare a moment not to compliment her.

"Please don't hurt me, Cher. It will kill me."I whispered as I cant help sobbing, looking away from her.

"Dyll. No. No."She took my hand and used her other hand to wipe my face. "Listen. I went to that hotel not of what you're thinking. I just...I kind of did something to teach him a lesson."

Napatitig ako sa kanya dahil sa sinabi niya. I don't get it.

"That cop. That jerk is... my bestfriend's ex-boyfriend. I hate him so much that I got tempted to kill him for a lot of time already. But we all know I can't just do that. But still, he deserves something."

What? Fck.

"You should have told me before I cried in front of you like a baby! What the fck!"

"Hey, babe. It's alright."she said making me really astonished. Did she just really call me that?

She wiped my tears and smiled charmingly at me. This feels so embarrassing but I can't help letting out my emotions whenever I'm with her.

"Look, babe. You have to go. It's late. Tito Tim might go ballistic."

She nodded and turned away to head out of the door. Bago siya tuluyang makababa, hinigit ko ang braso niya at ihinarap siya sa'kin. Hindi ko alam kung ano ang ginagawa niya sa'kin. She captivates me without even doing anything. She magnetizes me by simply looking at me. I know I planned things differently and now that everything isn't working in accordance to my plans, I'm going with the flow because her presence and everything in her is giving me this joy I have never felt before. She's my angel who saved me out of my life's misery.

"Cher..."

"D---Dyll."
