Chapter Thirty One

Namjoon's POV ~ three weeks ago

A breath.

I suddenly felt a deep breath overwhelm my whole body.

I felt alive again.

I was alive again.

The breath followed with heavy coughing, bringing up the remains of blood that had previously contributed to the death of me.

My eyes opened as I deepened my breath, taking in as much as I had just lost. There was a heaviness upon my chest as I looked up to see Jin looking down as me with a mixed expression.

"He's alive." Jin gasped, as he looked down at me, his expression showed he didn't know how to react.

If Jin is looking down at me, where is Alexa? Surely she would be the one to be looking down at me as I woke up from death. Even more likely, she would be the one to bring me back.

"Alexa, you did it! You brought him back! Alexa! Alexa?" Yoongi's voice became increasingly worried, making me become worried.

I felt weak, and I couldn't move enough to see what he was worrying about. But I had a feeling I knew enough what it was. I had a feeling it had a connection to the heaviness that was on my chest, and the cold hand that was on my stomach where the blade had originally gone in.

"What's happening?" I managed to say, my voice was hoarse as I spoke. I noticed J-hope and Jungkook looked between eachother in slight panic.

"Don't freak out, but you were dead"
J-hope calmly said to me, I wanted to laugh at him, but I didn't have the energy to.

"I am aware of that, I mean now." I replied. I suddenly felt the weight that was on top of me get picked up off of me.

"Jesus, she's completely out" Jin said, in a panicked tone.

As soon as I heard a reference to her, I instantly began trying to pull myself up, but I failed. I moved too fast, causing myself to fall back down.

"Has she got a pulse?" I heard Yoongi ask sternly towards Jin. I felt arms come up from underneath my upper body, pulling me up.

Allowing me to see the scene in front of me. Alexa was laid out in Jin's arms,my leather jacket was wrapped around her, he was watching out for her breathing, as Yoongi was taking her pulse.

"Her pulse is incredibly slow, we need to get her back to Crescent Moon now." Yoongi said assertively, standing up all of a sudden. Jace made his was over to Jin who had stood up with Alexa still in his arms.

"You need to go with them" I said to Jungkook who was helping to hold me up. He was the best fighter, and she needed to be protected while she was in that state.

"I should stay with you, you're weak" he began to defend, I understood that he's want to make sure I was okay, but I didn't care about myself.

"Jungkook will go with you, Alexa will need protecting, and he's the best fighter" I said to Jin and Yoongi as they laid Alexa onto Jace's back.

The two looked between eachother, as if they were communicating and deciding through just a look. Jin was the first to nod and moved away from her and signalled for Jungkook go take his place.
