I planned on walking to school that Wednesday morning. I had plenty of time, and it was pretty nice out. Just as I said goodbye to Appa and took the elevator down to the lobby, I noticed a certain boy sitting in a chair by the front doors.

"What are you doing here?" I asked as I approached him.

He smiled at me, flashing his perfect teeth. "I figured we could go to school together."

"Stalker Dongmin," I joked, walking beside him as we exited the building.

"It's not stalking. I was here yesterday when we dropped you off. It's called remembering," He tapped his head with a smirk, and I shook my head, giving him a small nudge with my elbow.

The sidewalks weren't too crowded since it was early in the morning, but the streets were packed with people trying to get to work and cabs trying to do their jobs.

"Hey, is Astro free Saturday?" I asked him. It was really convenient to refer to them all as one group.

"Yeah, why?"

"My mom and dad want to meet them. I know it's kind of awkward, but I can introduce you all, then they're going out, and we can all sit around and watch movies. They just really want to see you, Sumi, and Bin again and meet my other friends."

"Not awkward," He smiled down at me, "I love you're parents. Always have."

"Yeah, it's creepy," I joked, and he defended,

"Yah! They always bought me ice cream!"

A smirk playing on my lips, I responded, "Because you talked so much, they needed to fill your mouth with something to give their ears a break."

Dongmin pouted, which was pretty cute, but he couldn't help but laugh a little.

We were approaching the school, and some teenagers were hanging around in the parking lot. When Dongmin came into view, they swooned.

"I was meaning to ask," He ignored them, addressing me, "Are you free tonight?"

Although I was aware he was asking as friends, my heart rate increased severely, and I felt blush creep onto my cheeks. I tried to hide my face and seem casual at the same time. "Ne. What'd you have in mind?"

"I want to take you somewhere." Behind his smirk, I could see he had something planned. "Is it alright if we go after school?" I nodded, and that was that.

Whispers could be heard from the students. They didn't approach him because I was there, but I could tell they were gossiping about me.

"How does the new girl get to be so close to the Cha Eunwoo already? I've been trying for months."

"He could've at least chosen someone prettier."

In my peripherals, Dongmin rolled his eyes. He brought his lips down to my ear, saying, "Play along."

"What d-"

He grabbed my hands, smiling brightly at me. He spoke in a loud voice so everyone could hear. "There's no one I'd rather have the honor of taking on a date. Kamsahamnida." Dongmin bowed before planting a kiss on my cheek and waving, walking away.

What just happened?

The whispers around me became more frantic, and my heart was beating so fast I thought it might jump out of my chest. I brought my hands to my cheeks, as they were on fire. "Omo.." I whispered to myself before heading inside.
