I frowned at the text, but decided it wasn't for me. After all, I get random texts all the time from people who messed up the number.

Today was Thursday, and, of course, Sumi was sleeping like a baby even though I'd been yelling at her for the past ten minutes. Unfortunately, we had school. Today was also Dongmin and I's performance in music class.

"Sumi! Wake. Up. Sumi!" I began to hit her with a pillow, and she covered her face.

"Fine, fine! I'm up! Ugh.."

I left her to get ready on her own, not wanting to witness morning Sumi. If she's anything like she was two years ago, I'll pass.

Music class came quicker than ever, and, before I knew it, I was sitting beside Dongmin, leg shaking as we waiting impatiently for our time to perform. We really need to stop stressing ourselves out over things like these.

My hands on either side of me, flat on my chair, I watched the current performance anxiously. All the sudden, I felt a hand cover my own. Looking to the left, Dongmin offered me a small smile, and I blushed, since we were sort of holding hands.

Before I knew it, everyone was politely clapping for the group ahead of us. Great, now it's our turn.

"Alright, up next is.... Dongmin and Miyeong," The teacher smiled warmly at us. In a way, we were kind of teacher's pets. Music was important to both of us, after all.

Dongmin nodded to me as we both took a seat at the grand piano, angled slightly towards the rest of the class, so they could see us behind the beautiful instrument.

Realizing I had spaced out, Dongmin nudged my arm with his elbow, sending me yet another smile.

Omo, how charming..

"Are you ready?" He asked in a whisper, but everyone could hear it, as they all waited quietly.

To put it plainly, no one cared that I was up there. I was just Park Miyeong, that girl who moved away and is back. The only reason they'd have to care is because they want to see how much I've changed.

But I have an idol sitting beside me. They're quiet for him, they'll clap for him. The girls swoon and twirl their hair and lean forward in their chairs for him. Even the boys are looking at him.

I could say it didn't really bother me. I don't really know how true that was.

"Yeah.." I nodded.

His fingers moved along the keys gracefully, and he sang first. I watched the reaction of the crowd for a while, and they were in awe. After all, he was famous for his amazing voice. At first I wasn't nervous for the class to hear how I sounded, but now... I felt like one grain of sand on their island, and he was the whole beach.

"Once again, Miyeong's just being modest. She sounded amazing. You'd agree if you'd been there," Dongmin told the rest of the group as we made our way out to the parking lot.

"Stoooop," I whined.

Bin smiled down at me, "You've always had a beautiful voice."

"Thanks.."

"Alright, I hate to leave you, Sumi and Miyeong, but we've got to get to Astro practice," JinJin said, opening his car door.

"Say no more!" Sumi waved.

I smiled, "Bye, good luck at practice!"
