"That was my favorite part, oh my g-!"
"Shhhh," I shushed a giggling MJ, bringing a finger up to my lips. "It's late, I don't know if my parents are asleep yet." But I laughed, because he was so adorable.
I opened our apartment door quietly, and the seven of them took in their surroundings as my parents exited the kitchen.
"Miyeong!" My mother smiled widely, smile widening as she caught sight of the seven kids behind me.
My father had his hand on my mother's back. "Who are your friends?"
I introduced MJ, JinJin, Minhyuk, and Sanha, and they greeted my parents semi formally, making my parents laugh and say that they needn't be so formal.
"Bin, Sumi, and Dongmin.." My mother pulled the closest of the three into a hug, which happened to be Bin, before doing the same to the other two. "It feels like it's been so long. How are your parents? And your siblings? I'm so proud of you.." She went on and on, and it was funny to see my dad just stand and smile beside her as she went crazy.
I was slightly embarrassed, my cheeks heating up ever so slightly, but my three childhood friends did what they usually did and responded with cheerfulness. They always said they loved my parents, which I suppose is a good thing.
"It's really crazy that you all stuck together and found Miyeong again.. I'm really glad she has such good friends like you," My father nodded, and they bowed slightly back. "And you," He nodded to the other four, who looked a little scared, but he smiled, easing their fear, "You seem like good friends for our little girl."
"Appaaaa, I'm seventeen," I whined, covering my face with my hands, and I heard the others laugh, specifically Sanha and MJ's laughs.
Ignoring me, my father said, "Pizza's on the way, kids."
"Alright, so I know this is awkward," My mom began, and we looked at her curiously, "But it must be said... No funny business, okay? There's six boys here, and I know how it is-"
"Eomma!" I scolded once more, blushing even harder.
"It's just-"
"We're going to my room!" I said quickly, grabbing the person's hand that was closest to me, which was Sanha's. "Bye!"
When we got to my room, I shut the door behind the last person, which was Minhyuk, and I sighed. They began laughing, and I, once again, blushed embarrassedly. "Shut up.." I poured.
"So cute!" MJ grabbed my cheeks.
"Yah! That hurts!" I rubbed my cheeks, making him laugh.
I saw them individually look around my room. It was a decent size, but having eight people in here was a little bit of a stretch, especially when six of them are giants; Sanha's head almost touched the ceiling.
I saw Dongmin smiling at a photo on my cork board- the one of me laughing and him looking at me with a smile on his face.
"You still have this," He stated. The rest of us huddled around my board at his words, and they looked at all my photos. From a picture of Sumi and I covered in mud back in third grade to Jay, Sarah, and I at homecoming last year, the board held many good memories.
"You play guitar?" Sanha asked, pointing to a photo of me from four years ago, sitting in Bin's room with an acoustic guitar on my lap. I was laughing. I remember Bin told me to smile, and I was embarrassed, but he made me laugh with some guitar pun.
I nodded. "Yeah, I learned about five years ago. I haven't played in a while.."
"She was amazing," Sumi commented, nudging my arm. "Anything she tells you is a product of her modesty. Right, Eunwoo?"
Dongmin nodded. "She's really good."
"So did you take lessons?" JinJin asked. It surprised me how interested they were in this, but I guess they are in a band.
I glanced at Bin who had a small smile on his face. "Actually, Bin taught me. Everything I learned was because of him."
"No," Bin shook his head, "You passed me a long time ago. But I'm glad I had some part in it."
"Sumi, Dongmin, and I used to go to Bin's house. I always asked to go there instead of anyone else's house, because I wanted to play his guitar. He knew, but he never mentioned it," I laughed. "I couldn't afford one, and I loved to play, so why not mooch off of Bin, right?"
"Right!" Minhyuk shouted, and Bin playfully glared at him, making Minhyuk grin at him cheekily.
Within minutes the pizza had arrived, and we sat in a circle on the floor, eating and telling stories.
"Truth or dare time!" Sanha yelled excitedly.
"Sanha, you're like five," Sumi said in a bored tone, but was obviously hiding a smile.
Crossing his arms, Sanha pointed out, "Five year olds can play truth or dare!"
"I don't know about t-"
"We're playing truth or dare!"
Sighing, I said, "Have you never watched the movies, Sanha? Anytime kids play this game, it ends in someone's feelings getting hurt or two people in a closet, and I really don't want any of you in my closet, no offense."
"Come onnnnn!"
"I'll play!" MJ exclaimed.
"Of course you will," JinJin laughed, "But I will too."
"Bin?" Sanha looked at his hyung hopefully.
Bin sighed, "Ok, fine."
"Ha!" Sanha waved his arms around, "That's four against four. Anyone else?"
Hearing Bin agree, Sumi said, "I change my mind, I'll play."
"Yes! Five against three!" Sanha smiled. "I'll go first.." He rubbed his hands together maliciously, and I gulped in slight fear.
