17 - Explanation

"No, that's actually my favorite part!" Sumi exclaimed to JinJin, whose eyes lit up as she complimented his choreography for a new song.

"Really? That means a lot.." Awww, JinJin's so sweet and cute.

It was Sunday, which the boys had off, but they went to get some extra practicing in for about two hours today. These boys' work ethic is really no joke- not to mention their talent. Sumi and I had tagged along again. Later today, I was going to Skype call Jay and Sarah and tell them everything. Since I was calling Sarah first, I'd decide whether or not to tell Jay once I hear how he's doing with everything. I'm really worried about him..

"How'd you like it?" MJ looked to me as we all stepped out of the elevator, entering the lobby.

I shook my head, "MJ oppa, your vocals are no joke. Seriously, your high note kills me."

MJ smiled widely, hugging me tightly, startling me.

"Oof!" I muttered as he slammed into me, before I laughed.

"Thanks!" These boys...

"Oppas!" A blond girl ran up excitedly, dragging a tall girl beside her, who looked annoyed.

I noticed the boys tensing up, and I almost laughed. Sumi rolled her eyes.

"Oh.. Hi, Juri," JinJin muttered, a little hesitant.

"I've missed you all! Seriously, I feel like we never talk! Bin oppa, have you gotten taller?" Juri twirled her hair, shifting her weight from foot to foot. If looks could kill, Sumi was a murderer.

Bin looked anywhere but at her, saying, "Um.. I don't think so..?"

"Hmm, well you look even more handsome, which I didn't know was possible!" Juri giggled before turning to Minhyuk, flirting with him as well.

The other girl rolled her eyes, before smiling at me. "I don't believe we've met. Any friend of Astro's is a friend of mine. I'm Byun Chaeseon." She bowed.

"Wow, Byun like Byun Baekhyun?!" My inner fangirl crawled out. "I mean.. Nice to meet you, I'm Park Miyeong." I bowed as well, my cheeks flushing from slight embarrassment, but she laughed.

Shaking her head, she said, "Don't worry about it, we all love him."

Just then, Juri gasped loudly, shocking me a little. "Oh. My. Gosh! Cha Eunwoo, I didn't notice how nice your hair looks today!"

"Come on, Juri, we've got to go practice some more," Chaeseon grabbed Juri's arm, trying to pull her away from Dongmin, who looked pretty uncomfortable.

"But it's Sunday! Let's hang out with them!"

"Sorry!" Chaeson mouthed to us, and we laughed as she pulled Juri away.

When they were long gone up the elevator, I raised an eyebrow, asking, "What was that about?"

Sumi rolled her eyes again. "That was Park Juri. She's a little.. crazy. She's obsessed with all of them," she gestured to Astro, "Especially poor Eunwoo here. She's been trying to get their affection since she and Chaeseon became trainees here."

"So they work here too?" I asked curiously, as they mentioned something about practicing.

Nodding, Sanha said, "They became trainees here about half a year after we did. They're in a group with two other girls- Lee Dasom and Song Haru. They make up 4LIFE."

"Well, Chaeseon seems nice," I pointed out, as everyone seemed annoyed by the two girls.

"Yeah, she is," Sumi nodded. "I just don't know how she puts up with Juri."
