After hanging up the phone , I put my plate down. " I gotta go . " I said and Jessica looked at me frowning.

" Already ? Why ? " She asked.

" Lee's boyfriend is hitting them and they need me . " I kissed Jessica's cheek. " I'll call you . " I said.

" I'm coming with you . " She said.

" Jessica its your birthday and I don't - "

" No I'm coming . Their in trouble so I'm coming . " She said. " And that's final . " She said. " I'm going get my purse . " She walked away and I just stood there.

Well Damn.  😕

I don't know what the hell this nigga thinking putting his hands on my family like that. Lee must be in danger because Lindsey was the one who called.

" Jessica hurry . " I said.

" Erica slow down your gonna get a ticket . " Jessica said nd i just ignored her. My family is in danger right now. This nigga about to get his ass slaughtered. He put his hands on my kids and that's a HUGGEE no no. I don't know Why Lee is even with this guy.

| Lee's House |

" Jessica reach in that thing right there and grab the gun . " I said and she looked at me like I was crazy.

" A gun ?! Erica you  - "

" Just get the damn gun Jessica man ! " I yelled. I never yelled at her before but she just wasting time with all this damn talking.

She handed me the gun and I made sure it was loaded. I then looked at her. " Aight let's go . " I said.

" Erica I'm scared . " She said as we reached the door. I looked back at her and kissed her.

" Listen your gonna be okay alright ? Do me a favor . When we get upstairs , you take a right and you'll see a purple door that says , Lindsey . Knock on it and let them know its you . Tell them i sent you and get em out and take em to the car alright ? "

" But you .." She cried.

" Baby ima be good . I'm going kill this motherfucker first . I'll be out with Lee when I'm done . " I said and she sighed looking down. I could tell she was scared as hell. I lifted her head with my finger. " Your gonna be fine . I believe in you . " I said and pecked her lips. " now let's go . " I grabbed the spare key from ontop of the door frame and unlocked it.

We walked inside and left the door open. I looked back at Jessica .

" Quiet . " I said and she stayed close behind me.

When we got upstairs , we separated. I watched as she went to Lindsey's door.

" Wait I got something . " She took a bob pin out her hair and wiggled it in the door and it opened. She looked at me and i nodded for her to go inside. Once She was in , I went to Lee's bedroom and she was screaming.

" LANCE PLEASE ! " She screamed. I sighed. I feel real bad for mama. I clocked my gun and went inside. Lance was kicking Lee in the stomach. Her face was fucked up badly. She had a black eye , a knot , busted lip and some scratches. She looked soo weak. I wanted to cry 

" ERICA ! " She said weakly. Lance turned around and seen me.

" what the - "

BOOM BOOM BOOM ! 🔫💥

I shot his ass 3 times and he was gone. I proceeded to Lee and she was crying. I never seen her look this bad. I went to touch her and she winced jumping.

" I'm not gonna hurt you . Where it hurts ? " I asked and she weakly raised her shirt. I couldn't believe my damn eyes. Her stomach was purple and it had brusies all over it. My mouth dropped.

" We need to get you to a hospital . I'm gonna pick you up alright ? " She nodded and I put the gun in my back pocket picking her up bridal style and she groaned loudly. She was barely moving but she was crying alot.

" Owww !! " She cried. I sighed. I couldn't stand seeing Lee like this. By time we reached the stairs i was crying. She looked at me and wiped my tears and her hands was shaking tremendously.

I walked out the house and looked at Lee. She was slowly opening her eyes and closing them. Shit she can't do this.

" Lee stay with me I got you . " I said.

" I .. " And she passed out. I started breathing heavily.

" JESSICA HELP ME !! " I cried as tears bawled down my cheeks. Jessica came over and she was just at lost of words.

" Omg , we need to get her to a hospital . "

I sniffed and kissed Lee's forehead .

" Your gonna pull through . " I said. I looked at Jessica. "Drive please. " I said and she nodded. I got in the passenger's  side and the kids were in the back.

" Mommy !! " Ma'Leah screamed and she and they all started crying.  I would tell them to hush but hell , I can't even hold my own tears in.

I held Lee's body in my arms the whole time. She didn't look good at all. At least she was still breathing.

" Jessica drive faster please ! I don't know how much longer she'll be like this ! " I yelled.

Come on Lee , your gonna be fine. I sighed wiping my tears and looked out the window. The kids were crying , I was crying , i just want for her to be okay.
