The Game || BOOK 2 ||

Chap. 16 ( Dinner ❤)

When we got to the restaurant , we went straight in and waited in line. This restaurant that I took Lee to is called , April's Castle.

It's a expensive neat restaurant. You would've thought that there wouldn't really be many people here but damn , its packed.

Lee is looking beautiful , I'm looking good , the kids are at Lee's cousin house for the night , and I'm ready to spend the night with my wife and enjoy this wonderful dinner.

Without anyone ruining our evening.

"Omg baby they're taking so longg!" Lee whined resting her head on my arm. I put my arm around her waist and kissed her forehead and she put her head on my chest.

"Don't worry , we're second." I said and she sighed.

~ Couple moments later ~

"Good Evening , Welcome to April's Castle. Do you guys have reservations or just coming for dinner?" The cashier asked.

"We have a 8 o'clock reservation for Erica Brown." I said and something flashed in the corner of my eye. I looked over and seen paparazzi cameras outside flashing outside the windows. There must be other famous here also.

I sighed and Lee rolled her eyes. "Please tell you don't have a table in the front."  She said looking up at me and i shook my head.

"Nah babe , we in the back where the good tables at. Over the views. I know how you love looking at the beautiful ocean views and stuff." I said and she smiled.

"Awwe , I do love those views." She said and I grinned.

"Okay we have your table. In the back , follow our waitress , Marissa to your table. She'll be your waiter for tonight. You guys have a wonderful night." I looked over and seen a lady. Her name tag said Marissa. She was a brownskin woman with long straight hair. And she was really checking me out. I wasn't even looking her way though.

"Right this way." She smiled grabbing two menus and I grabbed Lee's hand as we went to the table.

"Okay , I'm Marissa and I'll be your waitress this evening. Here are your menus and I'll start you guys off with a drink , what kind would you guys like?" She asked.

"Lemme get a red wine." Lee said.

Since I couldn't decide , I decided to just get what Lee was having. "I'll get what she's having." I said looking through the menu.

"Would you guys like the bottle for yourself with your glasses?"

"Yes please." She nodded writing something down on her notepad. 

"Okay I'll go get your drinks , then give you time to decide what to eat." She said and we nodded then she walked away.

"You know babe , you didn't have to do this. We could've to Applebee's or something." Lee said.

"Yeah but I wanted to make this night special. We haven't done this in a long time and I just really wanna go back to that. Plus , I feel like I haven't been showing you that I care ago I you as much lately." I explained. "I don't want for you to feel like I show as much love to you because I really do care about you. With all the shit we've been through in the past with Naomi , and all those other women , I haven't loved them like I love you ," I said and Lee looked at me.

"Really ," She asked.

"Yes. I didn't think just because we had Lindsey that I would even start a relationship with you. Me marrying you was the best thing I've done. And with you stepping up to be a real mother to Naveah , is amazing. Plus with the other two , your an amazing - "

"Erica your gonna make me cry." Lee said and laughed laughed little getting ready to wipe her eyes that were getting teary.

"It's okay to cry ma because it's tears of joy. Like I wa saying , your an amazing beautiful mother and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you." I said.

"So .. So no more cheating?" She asked patting the towel under her eyes.

After she asked me that , I felt the guilt wind pass me again. Knowing I've cheated on her with Leh'Lani since our marriage , I feel bad. I wanna tell her , but that'll just ruin our night and our marriage. She'll take me to court for a divorce real quick.

"Of course not ma. I don't ever plan on cheating again. It's time to stop playing. I'm married , and I don't need anyone else." I said and kissed her hand and she blushed.

"I love youu so much baby." She said and I smiled.

"I love you more my queen. Now gimme kiss." I said puckering my lips and closed my eyes like Ma'Leah does and Lee laughed kissing me. I grinned and we pulled away.

"So .. whatchu gettin?" I asked grabbing the menu looking at it again.

"I don't know , maybe the steak and mashed potatoes. What about you?" She asked.

There's so many things on this menu I could order the whole damn thing. I love coming to expensive restaurants. "I want the lobster and ribs." I said.

"Babe that doesn't mix." Lee said.

Is this girl trippin?

Clearly she grew up in the rich neighbourhood.

"Babe when your from the good , nothing mixes." I said and she laughed and I chuckled.

"Your so crazy." She said.

"Okay , here are your drinks ," Marissa sat the glasses on the table and popped the wine open pouring a good bit in our glass then sat the bottle to the side. "And I'll take your orders for dinner. Let's start with you mam." She said looking towards me smirking.

I nodded. "Lemme get the lobster and ribs. And for my beautiful WIFE .." I said getting a little loud on the word wife and Lee laughed.

"I'll have the mashed potatoes and steak please." She said.

"With gravy or without?" She asked Lee.

"Just a little dab." She answered and Marissa nodding writing our orders down and walked away.

"Cheers , to us , our family , our marriage , our future , and the many more kids to come." I smiled widely and Lee looked at me. She looked so fast , she could've snapped her neck.

"More .. what the? Nevermind , cheers." We clinged glasses and took a sip and I grinned.

Erica trippin if she think I'm finna be busting out 5 more kids or however many more kids she think we're gonna have.

But putting that to the side , this is an amazing night. I got a little teary eyed when she poured her heart out  to me. She's have poured her heart out like that before.

I'm so thankful for Erica. I say it all the time , but I'm dead ass serious. I'm also thankful for our kids. I'm thankful for everything.

I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with the love of my life and beautiful children.
