| The Next Day 🌞..|

▪ { E R I C A } ▪

I picked Maria up and put her bottle in her mouth hushing her up. I already changed her diaper so she was currently wearing just a onsie.

I kissed her forehead as I begin feeding her the bottle. As I was feeding her, the doorbell rung. Spikes started barking which scared Maria and she started crying. I looked on the camera seeing Jessica. I sighed. "Spikes shut the hell up!"  I yelled opening the door and Jessica looked at us.

"Aww, what's wrong with my nukie butt?" She asked taking Maria from me and kissed her holding her. I handed her the bottle and she fed Ria.

"Nothingg. She just got scared when Spikes barked," I said and Jessica sat in the couch with Maria. 

She sighed. "I'm sooo exhausted ," She complained and I went tobthe kitchen making breakfast for Stacey and I. 

"How was the interview?" I asked cracking some eggs and she came in the kitchen sitting at the table continuing to feed the baby.

She shrugged. "It was alright. I don't care if I get the job anymore. It's not what it seems,"

"Damn, really?" She nodded.

"I thought I was gonna be a big time designer but really, I'm not. I'll be the assistant." She said and I nodded.

| An Hour Later .. |

It's been a hour, and I'm surprised Jessica is still here. Maria was playing with Jessica and Spikes. 

"Good morning." Stacey's voice ecoed as she came into the kitchen.

"Morning ..." Jessica said and looked at me then back at Maria.

I grinned. "Good morning. How'd you sleep?" I asked and she smiled.

"I slept wonderful, thank you. Is this mine??" She asked pointing to the plate with her breakfast. 

"Yeah, and your drink in the fridge." I said and she nodded then came sit at the table with Jess and I.

After Stacey said her prayer over her food, it was quiet still. The only thing you heard was Maria who was calling herself trynna talk and making noises.

"Your daughter is so adorable and funny." Stacey told Jessica and Jessica looked at her.

"Your daughter is so adorable and funny." The girl said and I looked at her. I have no clue why she is even talking to me. I didn't say anything to her so she shouldn't have a reason to really say anything to me at the moment.

"Um .. thanks ," I said and got up carrying Maria. I don't want to stay here any longer. Knowing them two more than likely slept in the same bed is real awkward. I don't know why she would even invite her over when she had my baby. As soon as I get home, Im going bath Maria. Dont know what germs she gave my child. "Erica we're gonna head out. I got alot to do today." I said and gave her Maria while I went get her things.

I could really feel the tension in the kitchen right now and its not good.

Jessica clearly doesn't like me for some reason but if I had to guess a reasonable reason, it would probably be because I'm seeing Erica.

I don't really see why she's trippin though. Erica and I are just friends.

.... with benefits.

But that's a difference story. 😉😌

"Bye bye I'm gonna miss you baby girl." Erica said as I watched her kiss Maria and she laughed. They were so cute.

Jessica came back into the kitchen and the tension rose again. She walked pass me and picked Maria up putting her in her seat.

"I'll text you whenever I guess for her." Jessica said and buckled Ria up.

She glared at me before walking out the kitchen and Erica followed her to the door.

"Byee!!" I heard Erica say and closed the door. I sighed getting up. "You okay?" She asked. I shrugged.

"I could feel she doesn't like me," I said.

Erica bust out laughing but nothing was funny! "Why do you feel like that?" She asked.

"Because! I know you see the way she looks at me! And before they left, she glared at me!" I said. "She's probably jealous because I'm here. She probably thinking we go together some stuff. You need to talk to her because I'm not afraid to put my hands on a bitch." I said and went upstairs leaving Erica in the kitchen.

I don't have time for the petty shit. Next time she looks at me like that or ignores me, I'm gonna say something. Like bitch we don't even know each other!

I'm not gonna lie, Stacey isn't lying. I see the way Jessica looks and acts around Stacey. Before Stacey came downstairs this morning, Jessica was cool and everything .

When she came downstairs, it changed and Jessica wanted to leave 

I'm gonna have to talk to Jessica about that. Because disrespecting my company isn't gonna happen here. I won't let it happen.

Maybe she just misses the kidd. 😝
