The threads of our lives,
To never be slit.
Our hearts inside,
Like candles lit.
The songs that we sang,
To never forget.
Our love inside,
Like times we regret.
The memories we hold,
To never be lost.
Our reminders inside,
Like paths we crossed.
The love of our lives,
To never stutter.
Our joy inside,
Like butterflies flutter.
The peace that we felt,
To never be gone.
Our lives inside,
Like the gorgeous dawn.
