The sobbing in the night

She's trying with all her might.
Can you feel it?
The pain of an ugly scar
Can you feel it?
Her wishing upon a star
Can you see it?
Her tears upon the glass
Can you see it?
Bloody footsteps stain the grass
Can you smell it?
Death rotting among the trees
Can you smell it?
Of sin and killing disease
Can you taste it?
It's so close to complete
Can you taste it?
Oh revenge is so damn sweet.
