The stars shine brightly
They are my light
The stars shine brightly
They're quite a sight
Twinkling in their own little place
A place where none can reach
None except my playful mind
As I fall asleep
Imagination and dreams
Is a gift from them to me
They taught me how to love and hate
And how to sing to thee
I wish upon a falling star
For things that'll never come
Money and power is what most want
But to greed I won't succumb
The stars shine brightly
