Internal Battles - The Poem by tingtamtam © 2010

I'm the girl

Whose life is a coin

Demons and Angels

Whose side should I join?

The Angels' beauty

From their souls, their hearts

Their willingness to forgive

They want just to live

His soul is pure and bright

He is like the sun

To brighten a day

My troubles now undone

They beg to me help

To save the world

But what if I don't want to

My story unfurls.

The Demons haunt me

They are the stormy sky

They ride the clouds

With a haunting cry

Demons show me

The place they live

The evil within

Let the games begin

They like to torture

They're the pain I feel

Their love of hate

It makes me keel

He wants me to join

To be his eternal bride

To rule the world

For Heaven and Hell to collide

And so begins my journey of discoveries

The good or the bad

The worlds shall slowly rattle

As I begin my Internal Battles.

Not my best work ever but it's really only for my story Internal Battles - A Demon and Angel Story.

I might re-write this some other time.
