"He he he he!" A large oger laughed stepping into our path. Obviously he wasn't here to just say hello. I didn't allow him to say anything else. I looked him in the eyes and entered his cesspool of a mind. I was appalled by his transgressions to humanity. So I stirred his brain violently.
He screamed digging his hands into his eyes goudging them out. I continued driving him insane showing him the pain and sin he has committed. I stumbled to the nearest rock and then smashed his head with it. Over and over he slammed it into his temple. "Stop I'm sorry! Forgive me! It hurts!" He howled pathetically. I didn't relent until he had smashed his skull open. He fell to the ground dead.
"What just happened?" Jaken questioned.
"Helena....." Rin asked a little shaken by what she saw.
"I took everything he did, all the pain he's caused and I made him endure the same. I made him see himself for what he was, a pathetic monster." I explained.
"So...you made him kill himself?" She frown.
"No, the weight of his sudden guilt and newly gained compassion drove him to kill himself. The pain I made him suffer wasn't enough to make one wish for death, not that soon. He was weak of mind." I explained from my broomstick. I flew over his body and engulfed it in flames. I let him burn until he was nothing but ashes and shards of bones. "The path is clear Milord." I said.
"Hn." He said walking through the ashes. Jaken and Rin followed him and I took my place beside Rin.
"So, why choose to do that to it?" Rin asked.
"I didn't wish for a physical altercation. I went into his head and saw everything he had done. So I pried his minds open and cursed him with a concious." I said.
"Oh....wait, that is a curse?" Rin asked.
"To those who have lived without a concious, yes." I mused.
"Oh....." She said and asked nothing further about it. We continued forward and it was mostly quite. So I took out my phone and played some of my music from my instrumental list. It was an appropriate song since it was cloudy out.
THE TERMINAL SHOW
Rin listen intently having aquired a taste for my music. Jaken seemed a little disturbed as he walked on. He eyed my phone, which was peaking out of my bra.
"What is that thing creating that noise!" Jaken finally yelled.
"A phone, a device used in the future to make calls, send messages, play games and my personal favorite, listen to music." I said. My phone's battery never drained as long as I was holding it. I was it's charger. Nice perk, I would hate to have to live with out my music. It's the only thing I had walking the streets alone.
"Helena let's me play a game called Candy Crush Saga on it! It's a really fun puzzle game! You would like it Jaken!" Rin enthused happily.
"I have no need for silly games!" He huffed.
"I was just saying." She grumbled then looked at me. "Can I play before bed tonight?"
"Yes, you may." I said. She smiled giddily and gained a spring in her step. I lifed my head up and closed my eyes as the rain started coming down. I pressed my phone deeper into my bra to sheild it from the down pour that was about to ensue.
