The next day I woke up and mediated after breakfast. Though mid way through I was disturbed by Koishe bringing in a vanity table. She wasn't really struggling with it but I levitated it out of her arms and where I wanted it. Afterwards she left me to go prepare the room next to Sesshomaru's study. I honestly didn't see the big deal in having not all stored in my room but Koishe did. I don't know why I let her have as much say in my choices as she did. Maybe it was because of her knowledge in the traditions of this place.

I resumed meditating until lunch was brought to me. After that Koishe prepared me to meet with the court. Why was I even doing this, besides Lord Sesshomaru ordering me too? I mean, their just going to look down their noses at me. It's not like they can really do anything to make Lord Sesshomaru throw me out. Sure, they can complicate things and make my life hell. Still, in the special mood that I was in I could walk in, flip them off and tell them to kiss my ass.

Ahhh yes, my special moods. I then sighed smelling my own period. It made me feel dirty despite the fact I could only smell it thanks to my enhanced senses. God, I wonder how the demons smell me? I would make all woman who were on the rag be stranded on islands if I was a demon. Great....the courts going to be smelling vaginal blood! With my age and the fact I'm single this was just going to add to the fire!

Hey look, witchy bitch has failed to lure a man! She just left another egg rot inside of her and now it's falling out! Let's fuck with her even more now that we know she's hormonal! So what if it feels like something is punching her ovaries!

"Kooiisshheee! Tell them I did in a plane crash!" I groaned placing my head into my hands.

"What is a plane crash and Why would I tell them that?" She asked.

"Big metal birdie in sky! You tell them to spare me from leaving this room!" I said simply throwing the covers over my head. "No...noo...Mr. Slender no home."

"Helena, come on now. It's just a period! Get up and let me fix you up." Koishe said ripping my blanket off of me.

"But I smell like vagina blood, I hate people looking down their noses at me, I feel my ovaries revolting inside of me and I'm not in da mooodddd!" I complained.

"First of all, who cares that you smell like vagina blood? A lot of male demons find that smell intoxicating. Also, you know there are people looking down their noses at you everyday. How could they not with how short you are. Now, get up or I will make you." She said.

"You wound me so Koishe! You cut me deep! Why would you say that I'm short! I've got a small dogs mentality! I don't know my own size! Let me naw on ankles and let me keep my delusion you monster!" I gasped acting like I had been horridly butt hurt.

"Helena, you are tempting a bear." She warned. Oh god this bitch is going to go mother Russia on me! I got up and did as she asked. Once again I was dressed up and my face was done.

"This is cruel and unusual torture Koishe. It's only been two days and I have learned that you are a sadist. That's a red flag! That's my giant caution sign. I don't need no Jeff Foxworthy to say Hhhhhheerrrss yoouuurr sing. I see it!" I grumbled after she was done making me presentable.

"Get used to it, everyday you must not leave this room unless I have done your make up, hair and dressed you. I am only looking out for your reputation Helena. You'll gain more respect this way." Koishe said.

"I don't care about my reputation! I just want to casts a few spells meditate, play with Rin and eat food. I don't wanna walk around looking like a Japanese princess with my nose up in the air." I groaned.

"Well, you don't have to have your nose in the air. You can do everything that you want while looking like a woman of high standing. Don't argue with me on this Helena. Besides, our Lord seemed quite pleased with your change in appearance." Koishe said.

"Yeah yeah, he probably was shocked I was showing some 'Shame' and 'dignity'." I spat out sourly.

"That is why I am not letting you leave this room unless you are properly dressed for now on. It will save you from receiving hurtful words." Koishe sighed. We left my room and walked to the main hall. Waiting was three older looking demons. All of which were dog. Then there was Lord Sesshomaru standing there looking just as unhappy as I felt.

"Good evening milord. I have come as requested." I said bowing.

"This is the newest member of the court? My Lord I would never question your decision but I fear she has bewitched you in some way." The only elder woman said behind her fan.

"I have not placed any spells that would improve his acceptance of me. I have only showed my power and usefulness to the Lord in small ways." I assured her through a tense jaw.

"A few clay dolls? That is it?" A man, the oldest looking of the three frowned. I looked at Lord Sesshomaru to reassure I wasn't over stepping my boundaries. He looked stoic as ever.

"I have also trained Rin to be a preistess having the abilities to be one myself. My magic varies, I am natural born, and I do not use any method besides practice and meditation to gain more power." I assured them.

"So you say, we've heard you're accepting feathers from demonic children. What are you using them for?" The woman asked.

"I was going to create a spell or creature if you will. With the talon of a bird of prey, their feathers and a small glass ball I hope to create something to make light continuously." I explained.

"Why?"

"Because sometimes light should be shedded on certain situations. Now, I am sure you all have more criticisms to pass over me. However both our Lord and myself have much more important things to do. You have no authority over who he chooses to house, be near or appoint to his council.  Stop trying to use a power you simply do not have." I said already grown tired of their questions.

"Excuse me! You are..." The elder man started to snarl.

"Right. This meeting is over. Return to your duties." Lord Sesshomaru said firmly. He didn't even let them complain as he walked away. I quickly followed him and resist the urge not to look back and stick out my tongue.

"Milord, you have decided to add me to your council. May I ask why?" I asked.

"You'll serve your purpose well." He said.

"And what is my purpose?" I asked him.

"To improve my castle." He said.

"Ah, but I had already expressed my plans on doing that anyways." I reminded.

"Now you have the title to do such." He stated. I followed him up stairs and went to the room next to his study. There koishe was building a few shelves to put things on. Lord Sesshomaru looked in on my new office from behind me.

"Milord! Milady! What may I do for you?" Koishe said bowing lowly.

"Nothing Koishe, I'm sure we're both just curious." I rolled my eyes and looked Lord Sesshomaru behind me. He eyed the room then walked off to his own study. I walked in and shut the door behind me with a huff. "God damn old ass demons trying to break the world record of questions asked. Thank god Lord Sesshomaru put his foot down after my little out burst!" I exclaimed plopping down on a cushion behind the large desk\table.

"You have an outburst!? Milady!" She exclaimed.

"Hey, what did I tell you about." I started but she quickly covered my mouth and pointed at the wall. I frowned and shook my head. She mouth Milord and I nodded my head. "Ugghhh.....okay yeah I might've pissed them off. It's better than being pissed on though. I told you I wasn't in the mood." I growled.

"Milady, perhaps some meditation and tea will ease your troubles." She suggested.

"How about a distraction? I mentioned making lights downstairs. I want to get started. How many bird of prey legs did they give me?" I asked.

"A dozen." She said looking on too of a shelf she built.

"Hand them, a knife, and those feathers here. Oh, find me some glad marbles. They have to be just laying around somewhere." I ordered.

"Yes milady." She said curtly. She handed everything I needed then left to find the marbles. This was going to be like the clay soldiers. Only, I'm winging it over here. This will be my second spell that I've preformed That wasn't exactly what my spell book said. I should honestly start my own spell book. I had six more days until the ball. I was going to keep myself busy.
