The First Artifact Hunt

The next day I woke up feeling amazing! I swear birds were going to fly in and start helping me dress and shit! I just felt that amazing. Koishe came in with my breakfast and I beamed at her. "Good Morning!" I chirped.

"Why are you so happy this morning?" She asked frowning as she placed the tray in my lap.

"I just love this bed! I love this room too! I approve greatly!" I smiled picking up my chop sticks. I picked up some of my sweet rice and ate it.

"Well then, did you enjoy your soak last night?" She asked with a knowing smirk.

"I. Will. Gut. You! Don't bring it up to me I was a blushing mess the entire time! Ugh I don't even want to think about it!" I bit out.

"Well then, eat your breakfast and get dressed." She ordered then left my room. I did as she ordered choosing to wear a kimono. Once I was done I looked around my room until finding my paper with my transportation seal. I pointed it west and then went to Sesshomaru's door. I knocked once and it opened.

"I'm ready when you are." I stated.

"Hn, let's go." He said walking out. We went to my room and I grabbed his hand before stepping onto my seal. We immediately found ourselves in a room with Riki and Rin. She sat up with a gasp clutching the covers to her chest.

"LORD SESSHOMARU! HELENA!" She yelled in horror.

"Calm down Rin worse could've happen." I soothed her. Riki sat up and looked at us in surprise.

"Lord Sesshomaru, Lady Helena. What a pleasant surprise. I've been wondering why you had her blood on a piece of paper in the corner of the room." Riki said looking at Rin.

"Yeah, it allows her to teleport here. Could you guess please exit our bed chamber so that we may become presentable." Rin asked looking embarrassed.

"Yes Rin, we'll do that." I chuckled as me and Sesshomaru walked towards the door. We waited in the hallway silently. Finally they both exited the room fully clothed. Rin still looked quite embarrassed. She had Pikachu on her shoulder. It made me smile all the more.

"Ummmmmm, thank you for coming to check on me so soon." She said.

"I should've sent a letter warning you or something my apologies." I laughed nervously.

"It's alright. I'm happy to see you both!" Rin chirped.

"Yes, we are all glad to see one another. Please allow us to entertain you both." Riki offered happily.

"He's a keeper Rin! You see this? This is a true gentleman!" I said proudly.

RETURN AFTER THE VISIT WITH RIN

"That was nice. I think next weekend we should return for another visit? That is, after sending them a warning." I laughed stepping away from the piece of paper dropping Sesshomaru's hand.

"Hn." He agreed walking out of my room. I sat on my bed and meditated some before going to his study. There I worked on my stack he gave me. I was surprised at how much can build up over one night. I was starting to get used to it though. It was starting to be the same shit over and over again. Then when I would finish Sesshomaru would hand me some from his stack. I HAD JUST GOTTEN DOWN WITH THE LAST OF THE SECOND BATCH WHEN HE WENT TO GIVE ME MORE!

"I swear to God you give me one more damn scroll! I will fuck with your shit so hard core!" I snapped glaring daggers at him.

"Stop using such profanity." He glared right back at me.

"Stop being a fucking DICK! GEEZ! I'm okay with doing some of your shit every now and then but not all the fucking time! Seriously I did my work! I did some of yours too! Now let me get some lunch and train!" I snapped.

"I see. Once I finish this stack we are leaving again." He said returning to his work. I raised my eyebrows having expected him to snap back.

"Okay.... Say can we go searching around outside of your lands? You see, I really want to go get these two artifacts as soon as possible." I said blinking.

"Where?" He asked.

"Russia and on some mountain in Japan." I said.

"Hn." He nodded without even looking at me. I smirked and left the room in a hurry. Once I finished eating I was going to run back and help him finish. The sooner the better! I quickly stuffed my face in the kitchen then ran back up stairs. I opened the door and basically jumped into my seat.

"Start throwing them at me! Come on let's do this!" I exclaimed. He gave me a funny look before pushing a small stack towards me. "Wait a second, you were expecting that! You sneaky dog! Are you really going to accompany me on my little quest?" I asked pouting.

"I never lie." He stated simply.

"Whatever you say Abraham Lincoln." I muttered darkly opening up the first scroll on top. I speed through them like never before. By the time I was done he still had three left. While he was busy I quickly grabbed Koishe and had her pack my bag with things I needed

Once I was ready I walked out of my room with my back pack shouldered and stick in hand. I walked to the study and waited for him to finish writing the last response to whoever it may concern. Finally he finished and got up. We left Jaken behind telling him it was his job to look over the castle as we were gone. He was disheartened by us leaving but bucked up when we gave him such and honorable task.

That being said and done both me and Sesshomaru took to the skies. I had all my hair back into a high pony tail. It helped stop my hair from lashing my face. We soared through he air like two comets heading towards the nearest mountain. We flew around it looking for any clues that the first artifact would be there.

When we found nothing we moved on to the next mountain. I had just spiraled my way up to the top when a large hand grabbed me. Thankfully I threw my stick away from myself. I would be pissed if I was forced to make another. It was a giant cyclops demon that held me in it's grasp.

"Sesshomaru! There's a damn Cyclops! " I screamed. Sesshomaru was all over him in a split second he took out a sword and with one swing it's body started to be eaten away into nothing! Thankfully I was able to get out of it's loose grip in time. I fell and summoned my broom to me. I quickly flew back up and looked at the lack of remains of the demon. To his defense Sesshomaru had dived in an attempt to catch me. "I could've handled that." I said.

"Hn." He huffed and we continue flying off into the skies. How hard could it be finding the mountain gate of the other side?
