Panting I ran from the hell bat, or should I say flew. After the battle with the hell bird I found myself to exhausted to be able to call Inuyasha to open a portal. Floating around wasn't an option so it was back to hell I went. I fought a ogre and a few passed warriors who held bitterness towards my kind. We'll the Japanese version of my kind. Yet in the end the same title was slapped on us all. I then found a dark cave where I meet a fellow witch. She was a primary dark witch but she still held onto some of her white powers.
I told her of my struggle and she watched over me as I slept. I had no way to tell how long I was asleep for but when I woke up to was to the sound of torn wings flapping near by. From there I fled not wanting to waist any energy that I had on fighting. This beast of a bat had six wings and an ugly face to boot. Yet as I looked back onto him as I flew I too late realized my error. A net was thrown over me. It's construction was of intestines of things or people I did not know. Out of the air I was dragged and my captor, a goat like Demon much alike to those mythical creatures from the Greeks.
"Look what I just fished myself! A pretty lady in distress! Find ye self chased by a hell bat did ya?" He chuckled dragging me into a small den. Oh no, Sytar's are not so friendly with women! As soon as the bat passed by furious to have lost me he released me from his net. In a blink of an eye I grabbed my spear and pointed the tip at his neck.
"You are not going to be holding me here. I am no catch to you!" I yelled backing up to the mouth of the den.
"You think it's just me?" He laughed and soon other's joined in with him. "Since being casted into hell all we have had are the souls of women. Of course their fun but their already dead and no fun! You on the other hand are warm and so alive!" He said with lust burning in his eyes. From behind me a dozen other of his kind stood blocking my path.
"I am also powerful! Leave me be or you will all suffer!" I shouted.
"Come on now, I saved you. Can't you give me a reward for my valiant efforts?" He cooed coming closer as did his kinfolk. Well, so much for not using my powers.....
SESSHOMARU'S POV
Emerging from the portal I landed on the forest ground and reverted to my human form. Tied up in a lock of my hair was the bottle that Rin's soul was in.
"Where is Helena?" Kagome asked standing beside the Half breed.
"She stayed behind." I said untying the necklace from my hair. Rin, her soul is safe for now inside my clutches. Yet what to do with her was a lose on me. I needed Helena should she be resurrected.
"And you just left her?" Inuyasha spat.
"It was her choice." I said narrowing my eyes at him.
"But....how will she get back?" Kagome asked looking off into the distance.
"She won't, she's probably going to die in there!" Inuyasha huffed.
"We have to do something!" Kagome argued.
"Like what? Jump in there and save her? Not happening! You're in no condition to go and I'm not leaving you alone. If anyone is going back it's that price over there!" Inuyasha spat.
"No." I said looking down at the bottle. A silvery light simmered and danced with in the confines of the glass. I could feel the essence of Rin pulsing through it happily. Rin needed protection that only I will provide. Such was the will of Helena.
"Why not? She and you have a bond! You two are supposed to stick together? Besides since when have you ever taken orders from anyone!?" Kagome yelled.
"I am choosing not to go for the sake of Rin's safety." I said and the priestess eyes fell to the bottle. She gasped and cautiously walked up to me eyes never leaving the necklace in my hands.
