As a was nearing the place of which rested in the clouds I noticed that Rin was near and in fact heading the same way. I nearly screamed out to her when I saw that she was in dog form flying through the air just behind me.

"Helena! It's so good to see you! What are you doing around here? Where's Lord Sesshomaru? Isn't it bad for you two to be apart?" Rin barked happily at me dashing through the air to my side.

"It is good to see you too Rin! Lord Sesshomaru and I can be apart it just that we feel.... Uncomfortable being so. However he has his lands to lead. I am here because Lady Mother had invited me. I have been challenged by the Alpha Female and won. That puts me as the new Alpha but I have poor knowledge of what my role entails. So Lady Mother has been gracious enough to offer to teach me." I informed landing onto her snout.

"Really?" Rin exclaimed going cross eyes to see me while her tail wagged behind her. "She has offered to teach me to be a good bitch and mother for Riki and Renami! It is an honor to be taught by her! Although I hate being separated from my family. Although Riki is already prepping Renami to be a good warrior! While I am gone he will use this time to establish a better bond with his son!" She explained.

"I suppose she did this on purpose. Perhaps we are going to be instrumental in learning for each other." I mused as the place came into view through the fog of the clouds.

"This is exciting! It'll be just like old time back in Edo!" Rin barked happily.

"Yes perhaps it will be! I wonder how long we will be here though." I said as she flew over the gates and landed at the bottom of the stairs that lead up to where the Lady Mother sat. She returned to her human form and I jumped off of her landing on the first step.

"I don't think it will be too long. Three days at most maybe? Surely the Lady Mother has other things she must attend to that would prohibited her from keeping us long." Rin figured stepping up beside me to ascend the stairs.

"I would think so but the Lady Mother is retired in a sense. She may have more time than either of us may assume. Remember what I said about assuming Rin." I said.

"It makes an donkey out of me and you!" She recited with a smile.

"Good girl." I said and we walked up the rest of the stairs in silence. Once up all the way me and Rin bowed lowly to the Lady Mother in unison.

"It is good to see your title hasn't gotten to your head. Welcome Helena and Rin to my home. I am pleased you have accepted my invitation in training the both of you." Lady Inukimi said bowing her head to me.

"It is an honor to be invited under your tutelage." Rin said.

"I concur." I said with a nod.

"Come, let me show you to our room." Lady Inukimi said getting up from her chair. Me and Rin looked to each other to confirm what he had just heard. "Under my instruction we will be sleeping in the same room should we decide to sleep. Helena, you are in need of sleep more so than me and Rin. It will all be apart of the learning process." She explained. I narrowed my eyes at her back as we followed her. I feel like this wasn't going to be as pleasant as I had hoped it to be.

She lead us to a door in which two guards stood watch over. They opened them for us and bowed as we passed to enter. This room wasn't a room. Well not a normal room. It was large, as large as the ball room just below in the palace. It was horribly bare though, not a single bed inside. Although there was a desk with three cushions in the far corner.

"We will sleep in our dog forms. While in our dog forms I will teach you everything you need to know." She explained the need for such a large room for the tree of us.
