Lady Zuzu arrived at the castle the next morning. Lord Riki arrived and spent all day with Rin before leaving her with many gifts. One of which was a demonic flower that glowed in the presence of the moon. Rin was falling head over heels for him in such a short time. I stayed out of their affairs for the most part. Then Anko arrived.

"Helena, your suitor has arrived." Koishe said voice brimming with excitement.

"Allow him to come to my study." I ordered and she didn't hesitated to rush off to get him. She arrived back and opened the door for Anko.

"Lady Helena, excuse my tardiness. I had trouble finding you a present." He said holding out a box for me.

"A present? How nice of you but unnecessary. Come and sit." I said accepting the gift. He sat down on the other side of my desk while I opened the box. Inside was a dead baby dragon. "My, what a lively little creature you've brought me. He'll do nicely." I said grabbing a jar to place the creature in.

"I hoped you'd like it. I hunted him down and killed him myself." Anko boasted. He reminded me of a cat dragging a dead mouse to it's owner as a gift.

"I am impressed. So Anko, as you know I am a straight forward person. So I will get right down to it. I am a witch with the compacity to have a familiar. I am training to reach my finality and having a familiar would be beneficial to me." I said.

"You would like me to find you one before accepting my hand in marriage?" He asked eagerly.

"No, I want you to become my familiar." I smiled.

"How can I become your familar!?" He asked.

"Just allow me to kiss you. Once I have I will gain your life span along with your loyalty. I already have it I'm sure. After you become my familiar I I'll request you stay with me. Then if we both agree to it, after reaching finality I will marry you." I explained.

"How long will it take for you to reach finality?" He asked.

"Less than three years." I informed.

"Three years? It is a long time to wait but I am willing. None is more suited to be your familar and husband than I." He said. I stood up and walked around the table.

"Very well, should you change your mind you may break the bond." I said.

"Never would I do such a thing!" He said full of conviction. I smiled at leaned down placing my hands on his cheeks. He closed his eyes and I followed his lead. Our lips meet and the bond attached itself to the both of us. We could speak to each other in our minds. We were instantly aware of each other's emotions and state of health. I felt my life span length instantly. When I pulled back I grinned like an idiot.

Anko blinked several times like a sudden fog was lifted. The lure of the bond was gone. However the bond can not make you feel a certain way towards the witch. He smiled widely then and pulled me back down for a kiss. He was delighted to be my familar and had every confidence that we would marry in less than three years time.

By reflex I blocked him out if my head. I didn't like anyone in my head. Grace was a pain in my ass, I didn't feel like having a repeat. I pulled away and went back to my cushion. Anko pulled his own cushion to my side of the desk and watched me.

"Helena, your dinner is here." Koishe pronounced coming in with my tray.

"Ah! What form of food do you eat master?" He asked making Koishe give me a questioning look. Anko had accidental called me master. He caught on to our shared look then took a moment to reflect. "I just called her master...."

"It's alright, it is a natural thing for you to refer me as. You are my familiar. Don't worry, I won't treat you like a master would. You are a friend as of now." I said.

"I knew you had planned to make him a familiar but so soon?" Koishe said setting my meal before me.

"He was willing and a very good candidate." I said patting his leg. I ate, made lights with the bird talons, feathers and glass balls. They would fly to  place and stand there shedding their light. For fun I made one get on Anko's shoulder.

Turns out he was the youngest of his brothers so he didn't have a hold to run. Lord Sesshomaru agreed to Anko living with us. He moved into my room and when I feel asleep he kept watch.

Rin and Riki were getting off just fine despite Lord Sesshomaru's moodiness towards him. However he became quickly distracted by Kuzu coming to stay at the castle. Rin, Anko and myself got acquainted with her quickly.

The more time I spent with her the more open she became. Anko seemed to really start to like her. Poor fool was falling for her. I wasn't bothered by it. Me and Anko were better off good friends. He didn't abandon his duties as my familiar so I wouldn't step into his personal life. Thought I did warn him that she was Sesshomaru's intended.

Finally the date was set for the ceremony of Lord Sesshomarus and Lady Zuzu's mating. However... Just a week before their mating ritual I walked into something I didn't know how to deal with. The poor dears..... This was going to be a head ache from hell to deal with.
