DEDICATED TO THE CREATOR OF THIS COVER SmilingStitch!!
I was so ready to fly away from that palace after four days of almost nonstop embarrassment! I said goodbye to both Rin and Lady Inukimi and jumped onto my stick zooming as fast as I could away from that place. It wasn't all that bad. I learned more than I wanted to know. I gave Rin my Amigurumi and Temari's to gift to her son. I felt strangely at home when we all slept in our dog forms together. When the focus wasn't on me getting Sesshomaru our bath sessions were very nice.
Yet that still didn't make me want to stick around a bit longer just for the hell of it. Before I left they both laid into me. They were both very insistent I use what I had learned upon going back. I agreed with them. Yet inside I was still running away screaming no. As I went home I was both awkward and eager. I felt Sesshomaru's aura light up upon feeling me near. He was more than ready for me to come home. I landed on my balcony and walked in only to face plant onto my bed.
"HOOOMMEEE! I HAVE MISSED YOU MY FRIEND! UUUGGHHHH! I love you forever and ever! I will never leave you my precious!" I gushed flipping over onto my back. Sesshomaru walked in at the end of my declaration no doubt having heard what I was going on about. My mental walls were all the way up like I was guarding the secret of where the gate to Narnia was! I wasn't about to let him have a clue about what the hell his mother and ward was trying to get me to do!
"Hn." He agreed with my declaration. "Have you learned well." He asked.
"Yeeeesss! Although your mom has frazzled my nerves! By the way, she scolded me for how poor I have kept up my feet." I shot him a deadpan look sitting up in bed.
"She is excels in that." He nodded his understanding.
"Yeah well, I see why you get a bit irked when she comes around. I can only imagine how it was for you growing up. Wait, I take that last statement back. I know how bad it was for you growing up." I said with a long drawn out sigh. It's so easy to forget that I really did know what happened to him. It was a lot of information to process for me. I mean he has been alive for thousands of years. Me? I've only been alive for twenty three. In my opinion he got the better end of that deal. Oh well no use complaining over shit you have no control of.
"Helena!" I heard the bellow of my newly made friend. She stormed into my room but when she noticed Sesshomaru was here too she almost walked right back out, almost. She nodded her head at him. Which wasn't a lack of respect. I wouldn't even try to bow if I was as pregnant as she was. "I'm so glad you're back! I was worried that I would go I to labor without you around." She admitted coming to sit beside me on my bed. Sesshomaru choose to take his leave right then and there.
"Oh Nalla we both know you aren't do for two more weeks. Unless your kit is a runner, than it'll be a week at the least." I grinned. I was so glad she ran him off. I really didn't feel like being around Sesshomaru right now. All those things Inukimi had taught me were floating around in my head. Of course what Rin had said wasn't helping me in that case either!
"Hey you never know! Sometimes I feel like it's going to just pop out when I'm getting out of bed!" She huffed.
"Don't be silly Nalla." I chuckled.
"So how was it?" She asked eagerly.
"It was informational at the very least." I huffed.
"Did she get into some embarrassing subjects?" She asked eyes lighting up at the thought of it.
"Yes of course she did. You know the details of me and her encounters in the past. She is on a war path to get some grandpups as soon as possible. I guess she bored in her retired state." I sighed heavily.
