* Bruno's POV *

I did not believe what I just heard.

"...It's Lenora"

I was about to snap, but I calmed down. "Hold on a moment". I covered the speaker and looked at Phil. "It's Lenora."

His face was a big old O.o "what? What she want now?!" He said. "Just cover the kids ears"

Phil put his hands over the girl's ears and then I snapped. "WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM LENORA?!?! YOU LEFT YOUR OWN KID AT MY DOORSTEP! YOU LEAVE AND WORSE! YOU TOOK TWENTY BUCKS JUST TO HAIL ANOTHER CAB TO WHO FUCKING KNOWS WHERE!!!!"

Phil had his mouth open. The baby stared at me too.

Lenora sighed. "Correction, you gave me twenty bucks. I'm sorry Peter. I'm sorry for leaving Iluminada with you."

"Woah woah woah" I butted in. "The baby's name is Iluminada? Who the hell names a kid that?!"

I heard her grunt. "I named her after my great grandma. We O'Farrells are very liking to our old names."

I scoff. "Why Lenora O'Farrell. Why! You had all the money in the world! You're an O'Farrell! You could've picked anyone but you picked me! Why?!"

I felt like I was pleading. I felt embarrassed. Embarrassed cause Phil was there. Embarrassed cause my kid is there. Embarrassed cause I'm pleading to my ex girlfriend.

But I don't care. I needed answers.

I heard her cry. "I'm sorry Peter. I just needed someone who trusted me at the time. My parents kicked me out when they realized I did drugs. I picked you cause I thought I could use you and not get caught.... *sniff* I left Iluminada with you because I didn't know what to do with her. I'm still an addict Peter. I can't handle a kid. Very less did I want one... I'm leaving Hawaii now Peter. You won't hear from me anymore."

Well... that was unexpected.

"Wait Lenora..."

"Bye Peter... forever"

She hung up.

"Fuck"

"What happened Peter?"

"She's leaving Phil. From Hawaii."

"Not good."

I was quiet... then it hit me.

"Phil. Where's the nearest airport from my place?"

Phil was quiet for a second. "It's about half an hour from here. Why?"

I stare at the road, my eyes becoming darker. "I'm going to have a chat with my child's mother"
