"OK, so this next song means a lot to us, it one of our favourites. It's kind of turned into our LGBT anthem. Basically it's a song for those who, for what ever reason, can't love who they want to love openly to the world. We'd also love to dedicate this song to all who are going through struggles like this. Never forget you are so loved and so strong and so beautiful. Sing along if you wish, this is secret love song" My girlfriend softly said, into her microphone, sneaking a glance as me when she explained what it meant to us. She took a deep breath and began singing, her heavenly tones filling the huge arena, as the audience swayed, their phone lights all lit up.

It'll never be enough" that's when I feel them, pricking at the corners of my eyes but I swallow them down, remaining strong as Jade, beautiful, kind, sweet, strong Jade continues.

Why can't it be like that? Cause I'm yours" at this point I mouthed the words to her watching as the tears slipped from her eyes, once again I swallowed down mine listening to her voice shake as she held out the note.

Why can't it be like that? Cause I'm yours" she whispered the last words, instead of projecting them out, burying her head in her hands, sobbing uncontrollably. I shuffled closer and took her into my arms, turning her away from the audience, into my chest. I took her earpiece out and whispered to her "shhh your ok, I know its so tough to keep it a secret but we'll over come this I promise." Jesy and Leigh had noticed what was happening and stopped singing by now. We heard the audience shouting the lyrics loudly which caused all of us to sob now, feeling love radiate from all around us. "I love you Jade," I said into my microphone, once the backing track had stopped and the audience was silent, turning her to face slightly more towards the audience pressing a long loving kiss onto her peach coloured lips. Almost instantly a loud cheer from the crowd erupted and lots of people began chanting "Jerrie, Jerrie"
I pulled away from her after a minute or so and once again turned more towards the crowd, "so as you guys can see, Jade and I are together, we have been for a few months now, but weren't allowed to come out to you because of restrictions our management put on us. We are likely to not have a record deal any more but we aren't bothered about that because it is better to have love then to please everyone. Thank you all for the support" I said to the crowd, intertwining my hand with Jade's on one side and Jesy's on the other, holding them up, as a simple of our love and bond.
We finished the show and walked back into the dressing room, a nervous buzz hanging around us. As we entered where we were met by the stone cold faces of our management team. Instinctively I wrapped my arm around my girl, drawing her frame closer to me.
"Girls a word?" Our manager said sternly, pointing to Jade and I. Jade gulped and we nodded following them into another room, her body still drawn as tightly to mine as possible. "What you did at the show tonight was the biggest risk of your career, not only have you put your own careers in risk but those of your band mates." He detailed, leaning against a wall.
"Sorry. But I couldn't help it, it was destroying us and becoming detrimental for our relationship. It's not fair we can love who we wish. I wish to love Jade and only Jade, she is my world, my everything and to have someone tell me my love is 'not allowed' hurts me. Love does not discriminate, it comes in all shapes and sizes, all colours and varieties, all lifestyles and all genders. Nothing should stop me love I got who I want to. Love is love after all." I finished, staring him hard in the face not afraid anymore.
"I understand, I do but that, however, doesn't take away the risk you took or the consequences that come with it. I wanted nothing more for you girls to be open about who you love but unfortunately it's not what we can do, our decision is to do the best for your careers in. Saying that, in this instance this risk has payed off and the fans have accepted you. What's more the demographic in the LGBTQ+ community has increased and you are gaining major popularity. But I have to warn you, if you ever go against my decisions again, you will be out before you can count to ten. Now get to the hotel and I'll see you both bright and early tomorrow morning for sound check." He said showing us to the door.
"thank you, we wont do it again." I said as I pulled her down the corridor, kissing her multiple times, all over.
"I'M ... SO ... HAPPY" I shouted stopping her against a wall, kissing her passionately in between each of the words.
"What you said back there was so beautiful Perrie, I think I fell in love with you more, thank you" Jade said kissing me again slowly, heat burning through every fibre of our bodies.
Our love no longer had to be secret!
I could shout it from the roof tops.
Kiss her in the street.
Tell the whole, big wide world she was truly, utterly, completely mine.
My life was great.
My love was beautiful.
All love is beautiful.
