"hi, baby, I'm in the living room when you get home, put on some Pjs and join me" Leigh-Anne's voice instructed on the voice messgae she sent me whilst I was in a meeting. She was being the cutest girlfriend in the world becuase I had lost out on a promotion at work. I got in my ford fiesta and drove home, thinking about my day.
Once I got home I walked up to our room, smiling at the pyjamas that my baby had laid out. I pulled them on, stopping to glance at my appearance in the mirror, noticing how tired I looked.
Slipping my feet into the fluffy slippers, I walked down stairs, excited to see what my gorgeous Leigh-Anne has done for me. I twisted the brass sphere, pushing it open at the same time. What I was met with was absolutely fabulous. The fire was lit, crackling away behind the grate. In the centre of the room was our big fluffy blanket draped over a chair in the centre.
"Baby?" I said quietly not sure if she was in the fort.
"Come in" she said back, her voice clearly coming from the tent.
"Okay" I said, crawling into the fort, seeing my baba, in her pyjamas, holding a cuppa.
"Hi babe, I love you" was all she said before I launched at her attacking her with a kiss.
"Thank you Baby, this is just what I needed." I said, sitting down in her lap.
"I know, how was work today hun?" She asked me, cuddling my body into her own, wrapping us in a blanket.
"It was okay, that woman is still being nasty, but I got through it, I can't wait until I'm fully qualified and I can get a better job" I explained sighing, work was hell on earth at the moment.
"Sorry to hear that baba, but it's the weekend so you can get that off your mind and relax yeah" She said, kissing my shoulder gently.
"Uh huh, how was your day baby?" I asked her, relaxing in her familiar scent.
"Good, you know that young couple I was talking about the other day, the ones who had been trying for 7 years?" She told me, her voice filled with excitement.
"Yup" I nodded, fiddling with her smooth fingers.
"Well their IVF was successful and she's carrying twins!" Leigh said making me smile, she was so passionate about helping people and her job was perfect for her. Of course it wasn't without challenge and she often came home upset about a couple who had lost their baby or who's IVF hadn't worked but mostly she enjoyed it.
"That's amazing babe, you've helped so many people in their lives on their way to families and it's amazing" I told her, kissing her chin when I tilted my head to look up to her.
"Thanks sugar, wanna just cuddle for the rest of the night in here, I can't be bothered to move" she said massaging inbetween my shoulder blades.
"Uh huh" I whispered, closing my eyes and enjoying her familiar embrace, all of my worries and troubles melting away at her comfortable touch. 
"Love you"
