"It's positive?" Harry shouted, when Jesy entered the bedroom from the en suite.

"Uh-huh, you're gonna be a daddy" she cheered, wiping her eyes with a huge smile on her face.

"So are you! I'm so happy! Finally babe!" Harry smiled, standing up and crashing his lips into Jesy's.

"I know! Can we tell our families now? I don't want anything to happen and them not know." Jesy asked, looking down with a sad look. They had tried 8 or 9 times to have a baby before this moment and she wanted everyone she loved to know in case she lost it or somthing happened. Though she was certain she wouldn't. She was determined. Not this time. Not ever.

"Of course chicken, tomorrow maybe? For now, let's cuddle and live in the moment." Harry said, tugging her by her waist over to the bed. He carefully pulled them down, sitting Jesy inbetween her legs, his hands travelled to her flat tummy.

"This is perfect, Harry, this is everything I've ever wanted, can we call Perrie, Jade and Leigh though because I don't think I can wait?" Jesy asked, staring at the tests in her hands.

"Sure, just them though," Harry gave in, picking up his phone, setting up a 4 way Skype with her band mates.

"Hey guys!" Jade said waving.

"Hi hun, hi Harry" Perrie said, laying her head on someone's shoulder.

"Hi lovebirds" Leigh said with a wave also.

"Hi guys" Jesy said with a wave.

"So, lovebirds, why have we been called here then?"  Leigh-Anne asked, popping a Dorito in her mouth.

"No reason really, just wanted a chat, so how are you guys?" Jesy said, resting her head on Harry's shoulder.

"I'm good, Jed and I have been spending time with each other whilst he's home, which has been lovely" Jade told them, nibbling on what appeared to be a digestive.

"Awe cute, where is he then?" Jesy questioned, as subconsciously moving his hand under her pyjama top, resting it on her belly.

"I kicked him out of our room when you called, thought you'd just want it to be us girls, but seen as Harry and Alex and Andre are he probably could have stayed." She chuckled.

"Tell him to come back Jade, he may as well" Jesy said, yawning after.

"Okay, Leigh why don't you update us whilst I'm getting him"  Jade suggested, as she stood up.

"Okay, well were good, I've been having a chill week really, went out with Grace on Tuesday but that's all really, how are you two?" Leigh asked, with a smile.

"We're good aren't we chicken?" Harry said, cuddling Jesy into him.

"uh huh, hi Jed by the way" Jesy said, waving at Jed who had just sat down with Jade on his lap.

"Hi guys" he said, waving back, resting his head on Jade's shoulder.

"So have you been up to anything then?" Perrie asked, snuggling into Alex's chest.

"Yeah we went out yesterday but we've enjoyed being at home" Jesy nodded looking to Harry who nodded in agreement.

"Cool, so why did you call us because I don't think it was just to have a chat." Jade asked, making Leigh-Anne and Pez nod.

"Well Harry and I have somthing to tell you" Jesy said, taking his hand.

"Omg what?" Jade asked, sitting up straight.

"Are you engaged, show us your hands Jesy?" Leigh asked, also jumping up.

"Omg you are aren't you Jesy?" Perrie said, having also sat up.

At this Jesy held her hands up in a surrender with the pregnancy test in her left hand.

"What! Shut up!" Jade screamed, jumping up, running on the spot.

"Uh huh!" Jesy nodded, tears falling again.
"Oh my gosh Babe, congrats" Perrie squealed

"Leigh?" Jesy asked, noticing she hadn't heard a reaction from the other southerner.

"I'm so happy for you guys, I'm gonna be an auntie again!" She said, completely stunned.

"Yup, I can't believe I'm finally pregnant" Jesy said, leaning up to kiss Harry.

"Congratulations you two Jade's weeping here" Jed said with a chuckle, grabbing a tissue for her.

"Awe Jadey, are you happy?" Jesy asked, wiping her eyes too.

"Yeah, I'm so happy for you two, are you excited Harry?"

“Of course I can’t wait,” Harry said, kissing Jesy’s head.

"Neither can we, congrats Guys" Alex said, also kissing Perrie's head.

"We should get going, we've had a long day, speak soon" Harry said glancing at Jesy who was falling asleep in his arms.

"Okay, see ya" Jade said with a wave, snuggling closer to Jed as he signed off for her.

The other two did the same leaving the happy couple curled up in bed, hands resting on hands resting on top resting on skin resting on a baby that love had created.

But that love would take away.

It happened at 2:42am, 16 weeks later.
As Jesy laid cuddled close to Harry and Reggie who was a new addition, her body failed her for the first time in her life. Almost as if it had given up, her body stopped sustaining the life of Finley John. Her placenta detaching itself from the secure place it had chosen over 4 months before, instantly starving the thriving boy, who was lived beyond measure. And treasured beyond cause.

The bleeding had come instantly. Not waking anyone, not until it was too late.

Jesy had nearly died as well, Harry finding her, broken and barely breathing, surrounded by her own blood.

2 transfusions and 7 days later Jesy's life had been saved. Most called it a blessing but Jesy felt nothing but pain.

She wanted to be gone too, able to cherish a life with Finley beyond the realms of the earth

She wanted to see him everyday.

Watch him grow.

Thrive.

And live.

Whether that be on earth or far away.

She wanted to be with her Finley.

Certainly not bury his tiny body in a box not bigger than a loaf of bread. Or morning him in private with those she loved whilst the world watched closed doors, knowledge of the miscarriage fresh in their minds.

Nobody could say why this had happened. It wasn't her fault. Not Harry's or the fans. Not work nor the press. It was simply fate. Written in the stars as some would say.
And though his life would never run it's course. And we would not attend his first day at school. Or watch his mum play MSG. Sit exams. Stress over marriage. Or the birth of his child.

There was one thing that he did have.

One thing he did experience.

And that was love. Undenying, copious amounts of pure, rich love.

From a distraught mother and a broken father.

Forever and always.

Don't know what happened here but it did.
Sorry it took me so long, I hit a brick wall with this book sort of.
