Relapse (Jaded)

"Want me to get you anything for catering Jade?" Perrie offered, her hand wrapped in Alex's.

"Nah I'm good" I said ignoring the emptiness in my stomach.

"You sure? You skipped breakfast and its like 5 and you haven't eaten a thing." she pushed, leaning into Alex slightly, forming a frown on her lips. 

"I'm fine," I said getting frustrated by how persistent she was being.

"Okay hun, see you in about half an hour," she smiled, turning and leaving with Alex.

I sighed and sipped my water hoping it would take some of the hunger away, there was no way I was eating when Jed was on his way to see me. I had already gained weight on the tour and I wasn't ready to get any fatter. I know I was being stupid and one small meal wouldn't do me any harm but with Jed's immanent arrival I wanted to look the best I could and being fat wouldn't help that.

"Jade, your phone's ringing hun," Jesy told me, bringing me out of my dase to hear my phone ringing. I slowly got up and it was Jed ringing, speak of the devil.

I'm fine Jed" I shouted, then hung the phone up instantly regretting what I said.

"I'm such a fuck up." I cried, as I felt a hand on my back.

"Jadey, what's wrong" Leigh asked me, as I collapsed into a heap on the floor.

"I just shouted at Jed for asking if I was alright and now he probably hates me because I buttoned him." I sobbed.

"I don't think he is." she said, rubbing my back.

"how would you know" I snapped.

"because he's ringing you back." Leigh said passing me the phone.

"I-I-I'm s-sorry." I sobbed to him, lifting the phone to my ear.

"It's okay Jadey, I know you are, I'm gonna give you the best hug when I get there"

"I love you

"love you too baba, see you soon," he siad and hung up, leaving me to pick myself up off the floor. 

"I don't know what's going on babe but if you ever need someone to talk to that's not Jed or your Mam, I'm always available." Jesy told me, giving me a hug before returning to Harry's side, glancing at the pushchair to check George was still asleep. I nodded and stayed on the floor, the effort would have been too much. I gazed off into the distance and evaluated everything that had just happened and how it had got to that point. And like always it stemmed back to me being a fuck up and a fat arse.

Perrie came in a few minutes later and I heard her address me but I didn't reply, I couldn't for some reason, my mind was stuck in a dark place.

"Just leave her Pez, she needs Jed, I don't think she's feeling herself" I heard someone say, Jesy I think it was, as I slumped against the sofa. I saw Perrie nod out of the corner of my eye and kiss my head on the way past, making more tears fall from my eyes. I was ignoring everyone and it was bringing the mood of the room down.
