I cannot believe Jade right now. We're sat in the green room and once again she's sat with Leigh-Anne. I swear she's forgotten I'm her girlfriend. I have this bitter taste in my mouth as I glance over at them giggling and whisper.
"What's up Pezza?" Jesy asks, snapping me out of my trance.
"Nothing, why?" I lie, taking my eyes away from Jade.
"You just look upset that's all" Jesy, said, sitting next to me, beginning to eat her plate of food.
"Oh, well I'm fine" I said, trying not to sigh as Jade laughed her wonderful laugh.
"if you say so, can't believe it's the last show" Jesy said with a smile, continuing to talk despite my quietness.
I just nodded, needing to get up and leave the room, sick of how my girlfriend was acting. So I did, grabbing my jacket, leaving the room and a confused Jesy behind. As soon as I started walking down the corridors my tears fell. I felt like shit because my girl was ignoring me, she probably hadn't even noticed I had left.
"Hey Perrie" I heard someone shout down the corridor.
"For fucks sake" I muttered before spinning around to face Leigh-Anne. "What Leigh?" I said kind of harshly.
"I just came to see if you were okay, you seemed down in the green room."
"what is it with people asking if I'm okay, Jesus, I'm fine" I snapped, before storming off to hair and make-up where hopefully Aaron wouldn't be able to annoy me.
As Aaron did my hair I mulled over what I had seen. Did Jade really love me? She hadn't even come to see if I was alright and she hadn't been there when I woke up. I really couldn't see what I had done wrong.
"Pez, what's up, you're crying hun?" Aaron asked, putting his hair brush down.
"Jade" I sighed, pushing away the hot liquid only for more to fall.
"Awe babe, what's up?" he said, spinning me round to face him.
"She's ignoring me and flirting with Leigh and I have no idea what I've done." I tell him, sick of keeping it in, accepting the tissue he gave me.
"I'm sure she doesn't mean it, have you told her Pez?" He asked, getting back to doing my hair.
"No, I stormed off and she wasn't even bothered. She sent Leigh for fucks sake," I huffed, feeling angry again.
"Something tells me you weren't as kind to Leigh as you were meant to be." He chuckled, gently pulling my hair into a pony.
"I didn't mean it, do you think she hates me too?" I said, tears threatening to spill again.
"I could never babe, and neither could Jade" Leigh said, coming round the corner, Jade following her.
"The reason I've been so distant is because of this babe" Jade said, coming towards me.
"I was gonna save it for tonight but I hate seeing you upset so I'm going to do it now." She said, turning my chair so I was facing her.
"Perrie, you are my soulmate. I can't imagine my life being with anybody else, honestly. I'm so lucky I met you and even luckier you let me fall in love with you. Thank you for reciprocating that love. I've got a question to ask," she said, pulling out a velvet box from her hoody pocket, kneeling down.
"Will you make me the happiest person in the entire universe and way beyond and let me marry you?" She said, holding my hand. With tears definitely falling now, I nodded, completely shocked.
"Its a Yes?" She asked, squeezing my hand.
"Y-yes" I stuttered, so shocked.
"Yay! She said yes!" Jade cheered, shakily placing the beautiful ring on my finger.
"Sorry if I upset you earlier, I just didn't want to blab" she told me in the most amazing hug ever.
"It's okay, I overreacted, sorry Leigh" I said, looking over Jade's shoulder at out two friends who were both crying.
"It's fine babe, congrats" Leigh said, with a thumbs up.
And that was the beginning of their wonderful life...
And not the last time Jade would get jealous.
