Powercut

Tumblr prompt: Person A and B are at home together and there is a powercut.

Simon's POV

I was recording Cards Against Humanity with Tobi, Ethan and Josh. 
I could hear the weather outside was frightful. The rain was heavy and the wind wanted to rip out my windows.

When suddenly my screens turned black and my light went off. It was only me and Josh in the house since JJ is at his parent's house and Vikk is in Australia with the Pack.

" JOOOSH! " I guess he couldn't hear me, there was no response from my bearded house mate.

I was going downstairs with my flashlight on my phone when I heard a loud thunder. I jumped and muttered :

" Jesus Christ..." Jooooosh where are you?  What the fuck is going on?"

" I'm here calm down" Fuckin' finally.

" What happened? Why can't I see a thing?" He shined his phone-flashlight at me.

" Because you aren't wearing your glasses"

" Don't you dare start this shit again. I don't need them!"

* thunder*

" Holy fuck." I jumped in front of Josh and hugged him tightly.

" I think the power has been cut off, I'll go check it." He let go of me.

" Don't leave me alone here!" I grasped his arm.

" Don't be so scared Si. Its just a thunderstorm." He caressed my cheek and I felt better instantly.

" I want to come with you."

" Alright."

" So the power is on but its not working... "He trailed off. " I think the storm caused this. We have to call the electric company."

" What did they say?" I asked him.

" It looks like there's a powercut in our whole area. The have to fix the problem, but it will take around 3 hours."

" That's a lot of time...  Did the thunderbitch cause it?

" Yeah." He gigled.

" What are we going to do? Its only 9 pm."

" Well first of all we need some candles. Our phones' batteries won't last long if we only use them for flashlights. Follow me to the kitchen." I followed him like a lost puppy.

" There must be..." He opened a cupboard." Some left from Halloween.  Bingo!" He handed me to candles.

" Is that it?"

" No we have some more tealights somewhere in here."

" Let me (smash pleeease) check." He stepped to the side and let me look.

* thunder*

" Jesus ouch!" The thunder made me jump again and I hit my head in the cupboard.

" Are you okay?" Josh asked me with a gentle tone.

" Yeah, I'll keep looking. Found them!"

" Nice. How many?"

" Auround ten." I pulled out a small bag full of tealights.

" They will do."

" What now? " I didn't want to sleep just yet. Plus I was pretty sure I wouldn't be able to because of the noises.
